“Unfortunately we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. There were candy, cookie and medicine wrappers left in the drawer of one bedroom dresser. The bathroom vent in the master bedroom was very dirty. We had 6 adults staying in the house and were only provided with 3 full size towels. There also weren’t any napkins or paper towels in the house. We looked forward to having dinner in the yard but when we arrived it was unusable and we had not been notified. While the host was easy……

“The apartment was excellent! Very clean, nicely remodeled, and in a great location. The ocean view was incredible, allowing us to watch the ships and the dolphins. It was also an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops in Cobh.”

“The place was clean, was as noted in the pictures, walkable distance to city center, shops and grocery stores. There was soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent for use. There were also coffee pods with sugar and some spices in the kitchen. The only thing is that the bed sheet was actually a mattress spring box cover instead of a bed sheet. May be this was an oversight, but otherwise all was ok.”

“Great location, especially for a prolonged stay. Easily walkable to town center, restaurants and groceries. Also well situated to visit surrounding towns and sites. Great neighborhood feel.”

“Very helpful host ”

“Beautiful water views were the highlight of this property. Perfectly comfortable and quaint. Thank you for sharing!”

“JJ and Colman were excellent hosts. Great view of the beach, beds comfortable, kitchen well done. Over all inviting and comfortable. Restaurant across the street. Would stay again! ”

“We had a wonderful four days in this LOVELY, COMFORTABLE holiday home. The host has been brilliant, setting up the contactless key box arrival for us which was seamless. The parking right outside the house, was great and Daragh responding to our enquiries during our stay. The house is deceptively spacious and after two weeks of hotel rooms it was so wonderful to walk into a fully equipped home with a comfortable lounge and great tv, a beautifully fully equipped kitchen and dining area as well……

“We loved this apartment!!!!!”

“The house was very spacious and had beautiful views. It was about a 10 minute drive into town. We had 2 young children with us and there was plenty to keep them occupied. They loved the trampoline and the game shed with a ping-pong and foosball table. However, the house was not very clean. It had a musty smell, and the sheets and pillows in most of the rooms smelled musty too. One of the bedrooms had wet carpet and smelled so bad that no one could sleep in it. Since there is no air conditioning……

“This is a very spacious and beautifully decorated home with a wonderful view of the river. It is very close to the town of Kinsale. The home is updated and had all the amenities we needed. We would definitely come back here again.”

“Words can not describe the absolutely stunning estate. The house has so many unique qualities its hard to consolidate. Great area for the kids to run outside while the adults relax and the outside table. Bunk room is perfect for kids. Game area with ping pong. So roomy that our 10 people never felt on top of each other. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. The views are absolutely amazing. Kinsale is now my favorite irish town. Love love love this place”

“Very spacious and clean. Check in/out was easy. Walking proximity to Kinsale was appreciated!”

“The place was absolutely amazing! Ian and Sara were amazing hosts - set me up for success at the start of my trip and provided me with some great recommendations - what I also really appreciate was how personable and approachable they were. Would love to stay again next time I'm in Kinsale - waking distance from the main town and just down the hill from a pub if you wanted grab a good meal / drinks.”

“The place was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The host checked in with us which was appreciated. We would definitely love to stay again it is a great base to access all that Lismore and surrounding areas have to offer.”
