「I have stayed at the Colton Motel on several occasions. It is an older Motel, but they do keep it very clean, and everything works as it should. I feel safe there and you are able to walk to many attractions in Gettysburg along Steinwehr Ave. There are several dining options nearby, which make it an ideal place to stay. 」

「The Super 8 staff are particularly wonderful! We were displaced by a fire a month ago, and the staff make us feel like family! As we heal from the additional grief of 3 cats perishing along with our lives, we haven't seen a staff so passionate and empathetic to our situation. Thank you Tony and staff!」

「This hotel is a very good value. It is a classic multilevel motor inn. I found my room to be very clean and perfect for one or two people . I had two challenges. One was with the bed, which tended to shift on me since it was on a hard floor and not carpet. The other was the shower, which was not quite high enough for someone over 5 foot 5 or so. It is super convenient and quiet for being by the street.」

「From beginning to end this motel was a nightmare. There is a severe bed bug infestation in every single room on the property. Appliances are broken if they’re even supplied at all. Sticky carpets, sickly sweet smelling moldy rooms, the windows don’t have locks and are accessible and half the lights are torn out of the rooms leaving it almost completely black inside. 「Not fancy, but certainly a good place to stay for a Gettysburg visit. It's easy to visit the battlefield, and to visit the downtown area from the hotel.」

「We unfortunately did not utilize all this home had to offer due to being gone most of the time during our stay. We loved the smell of the wood when you walked in and it was plenty of space for all of us. We will definitely book this home if we visit the area again. .」
