House of horrors..
The house was decent but definitely not brand new as listed. The home was built in 2018 which makes it almost 10 years old. We got in super late and was under the impression that we had the entire home to ourselves. I had the disadvantage of being scared to death unaware of where I was and who was in the home when we arrived. The garage door was locked and so was the master bedroom from the outside in. It was super creepy considering I was staying there alone with my kids. The home also had a funny odor to it and the beds were atrocious. There were pathetic foam mattresses straight out of a box possibly from Walmart that would deflate after sleeping on them. Water pressure was lousy, bathroom toilet ran,and tub was filthy. I scrubbed for quite sometime to get it cleaned. After 3 nights, I had enough and due to advice from my mom, I quickly moved my family to a nearby extended stay to make sure my family was safe. My mama intuition said something wasn’t right. Ironically, the owner or the “host” somehow knew that we had left at the exact time. I had a feeling there were cameras or they were present in the home somewhere. Super creepy! I contacted VRBO and the host who was only willing to give a partial refund. The host also attempted to charge me for a 4th night even though we didn’t stay there and chose to go to a hotel. Thankfully, VRBO contacted us a few days later to give their sincere apologies and helped us sort out the problem. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
