Crossroads Loft & Studio Apt: Steps from Rt. 66 & Beautiful Carthage Square

This listing is for the combined Crossroads Loft and Crossroads Storefront Studio. This 1880's executive loft has been completely renovated and is located steps off of Historic Route 66 and the beautiful Carthage square. It boasts 2 great rooms, a bedroom, gourmet kitchen, luxurious master bathroom and a half bath.
The storefront studio has a queen bed, loft double bed, compact full kitchen, vanity area, luxurious walk-in shower, and a toilet closet.

Although this loft has the charm of the original wood floors and brick walls, it also has modern amenities such as jetted tub, dishwasher and convection oven . Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible and be your home away from home with quality furniture, upgraded linens and bedding and many extras.

This loft has its own private entrance and nearby free parking. You will have access to Wi-fi, cable, 2-person Jacuzzi, washer, dryer and all the amenities of home.

There is much to experience in our quaint town. There are Art Walks, Food Truck Fridays and live entertainment on the square. The Civil War Museum is literally next door. Within walking distance, there is a coffee shop, deli, an art gallery, antique shops, boutiques, bowling alley, historic courthouse, historic library, restaurants, authentic Hispanic stores and cuisine. Within a couple of miles, there is the Precious Moments Chapel, Stone's Throw Dinner Theatre, Route 66 Drive-In Movie Theatre, The Power's Museum, Municipal Park Golf Course, and historic Victorian homes.

Thanksgiving with Family was perfect

We have used this property twice for Thanksgiving. It’s a perfect location for everyone to get together and cook and play together. We were a short walk from a family members wedding in the park near the square during the same time frame as well. It’s a short walk to a convenience store and also a nice little taqueria down the block. Owners are prompt with responses and check in and out was a breeze.

This place is great! Right off the square in Carthage. Steps from shopping and the Civil War museum. And dont sleep on the Mexican joint across the road. 2nd fllor family gathering area is spacious and perfect. Beautifully restored. Highly recommend.

Bridal Party Bliss

The loft apartment is just fabulous! The studio provided the additional bath we needed for our bridesmaids, and would be great for 2 or 3 people wanting to be on the square. Since we were here for a wedding, our time was booked solid. I’m looking forward to enjoying Carthage and the surrounding area on my next trip. I’ll definitely be looking to stay in one of Carissa & Dave’s wonderful spaces.

Wedding weekend

We booked this property because our 1st Grandchild was getting married. We wanted to stay together as a family & celebrate this joyous occasion. This property is exactly like the pictures only better. It was roomy, beautiful & clean. Our young grandchildren didn’t even miss, not having a pool. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. All the beds were very comfortable with luxurious bedding. Plus TV’s everywhere & great WiFi. But what happened after we checked out made us appreciate the owners even more. I left my Air Pods at the property & I contacted the owner. After much searching they were found. The owner agreed to mail them to me. I received my Air Pods on Wednesday after we checked out. Words cannot express how happy we were with this property & how the owners did everything they could to make our stay memorable!! Thank you❤️❤️❤️

Good space for a large family gathering.

A nice remodel on an interesting building. We utilized all the sleeping space, so we could have used a third bathroom. We liked the large family room area on the second floor. Very convenient to downtown eating.

Weekend in Carthage

The accommodations were everything we could have asked for. From the welcome gift of cookies, comfortable beds, plenty of seating and all the amenities you would need. There was nothing we had to get. Plenty of room for the many visitors that came by during the weekend. I really think Dave and Carissa are on the right track. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Carthage.

Beautiful place!

Our family was very impressed with the Crossroads Loft & Studio Apt. It definitely has the "Wow! factor". The upstairs is spacious and accommodating for a group. We considered the decor charming yet high-end and sophisticated. Route 66 touches are perfect for the locale. The owners have gone all out in design and provisions. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wanted to spend more time there. The loft bed in the Studio Apt. was a big hit with our preteen. ( It was also great to have a place where we could all stay and have access to three restrooms!) Carissa was very kind and helpful. We hope to return.
