Family and pet friendly cabin on a creek. 10 minutes to downtown Cashiers

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful spot on Fowler Creek in Cashiers, NC. Less than 10 minutes from the crossroads, you’re also only 30 minutes away from Highlands, Lake Glenville, and Sapphire Valley. Great hiking all around as well as multiple golf courses. Catch Trout from the creek in the backyard. Enjoy coffee and/or cocktails on 2 covered porches while listening to the sounds of the creek

3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. One of the bedrooms is 2 bunk beds. There is a wood burning hot tub.

The space
Open living area with 1 bedroom and 1 bath downstairs. Upstairs there is a master bedroom as well as an additional bedroom with 2 bunk beds. 1 bathroom upstairs. Cabin was completed in 2018 and the wood was harvested from the property! Open living area with a wood burning stove inside. 2 covered porches with fans. There is a grill and a Big Green Egg. Kitchen is fully stocked so you can cook here if you like. We do have a full home generator in case of power outages. We now have fiber internet so you can stream, etc at the house.

We loved this rental, it was so perfect for our family getaway we cancelled our daytime hike to relax at the house, have a bonfire, soak in the hot tub, play games, take walks. Host was very helpful with concerns. We really enjoyed hiking up to the right from the house, could see a few small waterfalls. I really loved the layout of the kitchen & main dining area.

Terrific home for so many reasons. The house was clean, well maintained and well stocked in an amazingly quiet neighborhood. We were able to take our dog for walks without worries of traffic and enjoyed sitting and playing by the creek. Plenty of nightlights around the house to help you navigate in the dark. Also, the house has a generator and we experienced a short power outage and the generator clicked on and didn’t miss a beat. Host was wonderful. Only a short 10-12 minute drive to Cashiers.

Best Cabin in Cashiers

The cabin is amazing!! It was very clean and cozy. The back porch was so private, not a house in sight and the views of the creek are picturesque! It was so close and convenient to all Cashiers has to offer. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stunning, fully stocked and fun to cook in. The showers were nice. The fire pit was a dream! All in all, this place blew us away! 5 Stars! Highly recommend! We could not have been happier with this cabin or the host, she was very accommodating and helpful.
