Kickapoo River Kayaking and Wildcat Mountain Exploration Trip

A very nice, new, modern and spacious apartment. Only a short distance from Kayaking outfitters on the Kickapoo River, which was the reason for our trip. Close to Wildcat Mountain State Park. Beautiful scenery nearby in the drifless area of Wisconsin.

Very modern and up-to-date condo with very nice and new appliances. Had all kinds of kitchen tools I could need and tons of space. Two large bedrooms with 3 beds and a pull out couch too. Shower was really nice although it takes a bit for the hot water to flow in the old building. Long stairwell to get up, not for the faint of heart.

Cashton getaway

Sorry so late with this review. I have pneumonia and it me hard. Anyway, our time in the heart of Amish country was wonderful! The accommodations were perfect! What a beautiful old building superbly decorated and renovated. It made our stay so relaxing and comfortable. Everything was spotless and enjoyed the coffee each morning. Will definitely do again!

The place was clean and modern. The hosts were prompt at replying to any questions we had. There was an awesome coffee shop below our apartment, called the “Local Buzz”, that had very good coffee, it was a fun place to hang out.

Great spot in rural WI

This was my first time staying in this part of the Driftless and it was so nice to have this apartment with all the modern touches, comfortable beds and thank you for being dog friendly or I would not have been able to come. Walking distance to the grocery store which has everything! Short drive to Viroqua for shopping and restaurants and very close to Wildcat Mountain park. The wet motorcycle riders also appreciated the dryer. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay while visiting Cashton for a family reunion. The hosts have thought of everything. The room was very clean which is the most important factor when you're staying at any lodging facility. The unit was also well stocked with all the things you need. We owned a luxury bed and breakfast for 15 years. My wife still works as a consultant in the lodging industry so we can appreciate what a gem this place is. Everything about this lodging facility was top notch! We'll definitely be back and encourage more of the family to book at Bates 815! TimDuluth, MN

Quiet town in Amish country. Host was great. Good communication. We enjoyed the unit. Well stocked. Quiet. Easy to find. You do have to go around to back of building to get entry key for building.
