Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family.”

“Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen, idyllischen Lage oberhalb von Sasso Marconi. Im Dorf selber gibt es jede Menge Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sehr gute Restaurants. Die Landschaft, die Aussicht und der riesen große Garten sind ein Traum. Der Pool ist super sauber und sehr gepflegt. Der liebe Hausmeister kommt jeden Tag und sorgt für Sauberkeit und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Der Pizzaofen und der Außengrill sind genial um den schönen Garten und die Terrasse mit leckerem Essen und einem Glas Wein zu……

“The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna.”

“Guiglia is a wonderful small town that's centrally located in Emilia Romagna. We are 2 couples that stayed for a week and the location was a centrally located to Bologna, Modena and Parma. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was unique and had a number of architectural touches that made this a memorable stay. it was spacious, has a large yard with a covered pagoda, above ground pool and hot tub. Our landlord was readily available if we had any questions and the resident dog, Beatrice,……

“They said there was wifi and there wasn’t. The fridge did not work. The picture showing the beautiful garden actually belonged to the person who lived next to the studio. There was no door to the bathroom. There was plywood everywhere. The look was high and difficult to access even thought we are fit and trim women. Worst place I have ever had to stay in. ”

“Nice and clean apartment on the 5th floor with an elevator Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Bathrooms were clean and spacious as well, and soap and shampoo were provided. It was nice to have a washer in the kitchen to wash clothing. The location was okay - about 20-minute walk to Piazza Maggiore. We had a car and parked at Garage Grada, which was about 25 euros per day and very close to the apartment. “Close to train station and amenities. Apartment was clean and the girl who met us with the keys was lovely and patient as our flight was an hour late. She explained everything in the apartment. There were a few maintenance issues in the apartment when we arrived and somebody came to fix these the following day. There were a few other little things like the kitchen tap was loose and the shower head leaked which are small things but repairing them would make a difference. ”

“We are from the United States. This home was perfect for our family. It is very clean and has everything we needed. Location is a manageable 10 minute walk to train station which was very important to us. Bolognia is central to several other cities in Italy that we wanted to visit. Each day, we just hopped on train to another city and came "home" each evening. Grocery store is within two blocks. Coffee shops and restaurants are also within walking distance. Safety did not appear to be an issue……

“If you are looking to be centrally located in this area, this is the place. We explored Bologna, Modena, and Parma, along with local parmigiano, and balsamico “factories” (actually very small), stay here! Tiziano was very helpful and his boxer Beatrice is very friendly. We loved the yard and sitting under the portico. The weather was a little cool, but we did have a few warm afternoons. Sunsets are beautiful over the hills. The flat had everything we needed. “We've very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place, grand view, the terrace is a perfect spot to relax und enjoy a book, a coffee or an evening meal (Jon is an excellent cook!). Kitchen well equipped, the house has all amenities for a perfect stay. Wonderful hosts, very friendly and considerate, they know the area very well and offered us lots of valued tips for off the beaten track places to visit. We dearly miss our conversations!”
