Lovely location and friendly hosts

The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!

Groot huis met mooi zwembad

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Mooi extreem ruim huis. Veel sfeer. Geen airco maar plafondventilatoren in slaapkamer. Geen tv's.Maar tv's niet gemist.Fijne overdekte terras bij mooi zwembad. Zwembad dieper dan je denkt.Eigenaren super lief en behulpzaam.We gaan zeker terug.

Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Also wenn man keinen Neubau erwartet, dann ist es ein sehr schönes Grundstück. Wir waren Super zufrieden. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Der Pool Überragend, ein Grill wird zur Nutzung bereitgestellt, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Alles in Allem weiter zu empfehlen! Danke

Sono stato in vacanza in questa struttura con i miei amici, un gruppo di 10 persone. Struttura al di sotto di qualsiasi aspettativa. Pulizia degli ambienti e degli accessori a dir poco scandalosa, arredamento della piscina fatiscente, un salottino in vimini con cuscini rattoppati, servizi inesistenti. Alle nostre osservazioni ci è stato detto che abbiamo una visione "particolare" della pulizia, dando la colpa all'impresa di pulizia che avevano ingaggiato. Va segnalato inoltre che la descrizione che si trova nel sito di VRBO è ingannevole dove si parla di camere climatizzate ( pala a soffitto), tv in ogni camera (manco 1 in soggiorno) e foto sfuocate e ritoccate degli ambienti interni ed esterni. La struttura l'hanno chiamata Villa del Duca....prima di accettare certe inserzioni dovrebbero essere verificate per dare il giusto servizio a chi si presta di prenotare le proprie vacanze. Peccato che non posso allegare le foto a testimonianza di quanto ho scritto. State alla larga da Via Vitellino 47

Maison idéale grande famille mais des points de vigilance à signaler

Famille de 8 adultes : Points positifs => idéalement situé pour les visites environnantes (Toscane et Ombrie), à la campagne à 5 minutes en voiture du village et magasin d'alimentation EuroSpin, 6 chambres -> 5 avec douche et WC, draps et serviettes fournis, grand espace extérieur protégé du soleil pour les repas (pour 12 personnes), grande piscine (13x6 mètres). Points négatifs => route très passante et très bruyante devant la maison (impossible de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes, donc avec la chaleur estivale il fait une chaleur étouffante dans la chambre), les chiens (des maisons autour et de la clinique vétérinaire devant la maison) aboyaient jour et nuit... quel vacarme !! , la maison n'est pas assez équipée pour 8-12 :( : pas de cuillère à café..., pas d'essoreuse à salade, pas de casserole mais seulement des marmites énormes, pas de verre à vin (dans une région du Chianti, c'est dommage...), machine à laver qui marche quand elle veut, wifi très capricieux, cafetière pleine de calcaire (j'ai dû la détartrer pour pouvoir l'utiliser correctement). Remarque : il n'y a pas de climatisation. Les chambres sont équipées d'un ventilateur de plafond. A signaler : à notre arrivée, nous avons dû régler au propriétaire une taxe de séjour par vacancier, ce qui n'était pas indiqué dans l'annonce :( ! En résumé : Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Daniela qui se rend disponible si besoin pendant le séjour. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour malgré l'environnement bruyant. Pour les personnes recherchant le calme absolu de la campagne, elles seront déçues. Beaucoup de visites. Nous avons pleinement profité du bel espace extérieur et de la piscine. Daniela devrait faire en sorte de faire un peu plus attention au matériel fourni/à fournir pour corriger les points négatifs ci-dessus.

Nice property, shame about the cleanliness and upkeep.

We were greeted by, I think, Manuella's parents. Who were lovely, friendly and tried their best to be helpful. However, I speak zero Italian and their English is limited. So, we were left feeling a little confused about a few issues (bins/recycling, location of supermarkets, etc...). Most places we visit have a folder containing all the useful information, translated into different languages. We loved the house, location and swimming pool. However, there were a few serious cons. The house had not been cleaned properly. We found lots of cobwebs. The plates, dishes and cutlery were filthy. We had to wash everything in the kitchen. The dishwasher didn't work (it seemed to cover everything with even more food), it must have been clogged. Also, the coffee maker had not been emptied and was full of mouldy coffee grounds (yuck!). Overall maintenance was pretty bad . There was a broken shower handle in one room, a screeching extractor fan in another, etc... Nothing serious, but it could all be easily be fixed. This is such a shame because it is a truly fantastic place and the owners are lovely. It just needs a little more thought and attention to detail.

Location bien adaptée pour des vacances en groupe

Maison de campagne rustique, ne vous attendez pas à un confort moderne, mais il y a beaucoup d'espace et ce lieu est très bien adapté pour des vacances en groupe (nous étions 3 familles : 6 adultes et 6 enfants). Le vaste abri de jardin avec grande tablée, salon et table de ping pong constitue la principale pièce de vie, très agréable en été. La piscine est grande et correctement entretenue. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et de bon conseil. Les chambres sont assez grandes, disposent d'un ventilateur plafonnier et chacune (sauf une) a sa propre salle de bain. Par contre, il n'y a pas de climatisation. La maison se situe dans un hameau à 2 ou 3 km de Castiglione del Lago. L'endroit est assez calme, mais la route est cependant assez passante (les 2 chambres donnant côté route sont donc un peu bruyantes) En tout cas, le logement correspondait à nos attentes, et le rapport qualité-prix est tout à fait convenable ; nous y avons passé un agréable séjour.

Ruimte en ligging van het huis perfect

Het huis is erg slecht onderhouden, de bedden waren slecht en het huis was erg stoffig en overal spinnenwebben. De bad ruimtes en toiletten waren wel redelijk schoon Derhalve zijn de schoonmaak kosten die nog extra betaald moeten worden veel te hoog! Zwembad en tuin waren perfect. Al met al prima vakantie gehad met 11 volwassenen en 1 baby
