“A very fully equipped country house with surrounding terraces and seating areas that can comfortably accommodate 10 people. The owner lives nearby and is not only very friendly but also very helpful when asked. In the bedrooms, with the number of 3 sockets per bedroom is a bit limited and three double beds are only 140 cm wide, where nowadays 160 cm is more or less the standard. “A mixed review, I will start with the pros:Lovely pool, it's big, clean and has lovely steps leading down (it's quite deep in the middle), can fit lots of inflatables.A large garden if you have kids that want to run around.Toilet downstairs is really handyBergerac is a nice little town, lots of restaurants, a nice boat trip and a town to mooch around...probably only need a day to explore fully but a good base to explore the region.We visited lots of chateaus and booked a vineyard tour to collect……

“Perfect in every way! The exterior grounds are breathtaking and the home was perfect for a group celebration. Every bedroom had a private bath, along with another full bath off the pool area. All amenities were top of the line and the hosts most gracious. We could not have picked a better place for visiting St Emilion, Pomerol, and out to the Dordogne region of Sarlat, Le Rowue Gageac, Domme & the caves. 5 stars!”
