“The construction of the thousand year old building was amazingly beautiful! The park like grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bed was firm, like most beds in Italy. I have to say though the pillows were the worse pillows I’ve ever had to sleep on. They were fat hard rubber pillows. 😩 ”

“The hotel is new, modern, elegant, very clean and in a great location, just off the crowded main square. My room was spacious and very comfortable and clean - just not a single drawer to store underwear, shirts etc. Since the check-in happens with the punching of a code and there is no reception, I had to carry my large suitcase up some very steep and narrow stairs to the second floor. “The rooms are scattered in an area that is a 5 minute walk to the heart of town for the farthest rooms. There seemed to be plenty of on street parking-some in pay spots (.60 euro/ hour) and some in free spaces. Our room was very spacious with a small kitchen, a jacuzzi bath & even a rooftop sitting area. Breakfast was a typical European continental breakfast but the croissants, cakes and pastries were fresh & very good.”
