"We booked this room as a last resort and were totally surprised. The room was small, but we were only staying for one night. Everything was clean. However, this is a no frills hotel. You do not get kleenex, shampoo, hair dryer or other amenities such as breakfast bars. Parking was ample and very clean and we felt safe. On short notice, would definitely stay again."

"Room was decent & staff was nice. Breakfast was standard & everything was good. Have stayed before & would stay again if in the area. The room just seemed like it was still in last stage renovations. Exposed wall by a/c unit & tiles fell in the bathroom after my shower!"

"This motel was chosen because it is about a mile from the Luray Caverns entrance. The motel is two story, easy drive in, and easy to find. The facility is modern, well kept, and the room was clean and the bathroom facility is excellent. The heater worked fine, which was very helpful as it was cool when I arrived. The room was on the second floor, which was a walkup with safety stairs. But infirmed and older folks will have trouble unless I missed the elevator. There is a breakfast restaurant on the site, with great food, friendly service, and reasonable price. If I came back I would definitely stay there. Not a great choice for travelers coming through a main road as it is about 20-30 minutes of main highways. But for Luray area visits it is perfect and affordable. No grounds no swimming pool, just very good sleep and morning eats."

"Clean, friendly staff, cozy feel, large tv, and overall a wonderful stay! Our only suggestion would be a fan in the bathroom since steam quickly builds. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the Hillside Hotel. "
