"I've traveled extensively and there is no way this is 3 star hotel. Cambria is 4 Star+! Exceptionally clean and thoughtful touches abound such as the luxury soaps and separate makeup towel for my wife. The rooms are very comfortable and the volume ceilings really add to the sense of spaciousness. The staff is very friendly and gave tips on how to mitigate tasting fees in the surrounding vintners. The breakfast was simply outstanding with what I'm guessing was scratch made strawberry jam (there were real strawberries in it!). The fact I paid $5 total for the breakfast when booking is ridiculous. We didn't spend any time outside, but they have a beautiful conversation area with multiple firepits, cornhole, and other areas to relax. We travel to the Central Coast all the time and this will be my hotel of choice for the Paso Robles/Templeton area. It simply can't be beat for the money."

"What a lovely place. The "downside" was we stayed during an extended rainy time. The UPSIDE was it was a pleasant spot to be "trapped" in: room for the puzzle on the table, good internet connection, farm animals providing entertainment, kitchen had ample silverware, plates etc., the roads (during cloud breaks) were nice to walk on. We loved it. Our dog loved it. We were trying to find a place to escape the booms/noise of New Years' Eve and . . . we did!!"

"We had a fabulous stay at Caterina Dusi. The home is in such a beautiful location, right in the middle of the vineyards and, yet, just minutes from town. Check in was easy with the lockbox; however, we arrived after dark and there were no exterior lights on. The approach to the house, with the exterior lights on, is quite a sight. We walked through the house, which is quite large, and were so impressed with it. It is truly as described and there was a gift of wine from the J Dusi winery. The house is nicely furnished, the beds were very comfortable. It is also very well insulated and was cozy on the chilly nights. We parked the truck in the garage, which is very handy, but without a garage door opener, someone had to stay back to close up the garage and then exit the front door. We had to reverse that when we returned later. The TV would benefit from a Roku, Firestick or Apple TV for more convenient streaming. The wi fi for the internet was good, but less so for the television. The shower and hair products were really nice, there was plenty of tp and paper towels, but we purchased tissues.The kitchen is very well equipped and the equipment is well maintained and clean.There was only one occasion where we had to contact the property manager and AvantStay responded quickly. The light in the shower was out and the maintenance man came by, at our convenience, to replace the bulb. Happy New Year to all!"
