“Three generations of our family, with 4 children between 7 and 11 were here for a week. Our initial impression was that the villa and gardens were a spectacular setting but the accommodation areas were a bit basic and not what we expected for the 'luxury' description, as has also been described in other reviews. “C'est un logement très fonctionnel, idéal pour un grand groupe. La piscine et la climatisation des chambres aident à supporter la forte chaleur. “My family and I (group of 9 people) stayed at Salmone Bianco July 16-23 2022 and had a wonderful time. The owner and the house manager are very welcoming and professional. They are always available, friendly and very resourceful when it comes to recommendations. The villa is very clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with any accessory. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. ”
