Relaxation at its best

This was such a lovely place stay if you’re looking for a little time away to just relax and unwind. The property was so comfortable and the views of the ocean were spectacular. We enjoyed daily beach walks, beautiful sunsets, and some great family time. We would definitely stay again!

Roaring ocean

We had a great time. The place was very nice. For our group was a little off the shopping path for us. Carmel had a fantastic food tour if anyone is interested.

Wonderful family getaway on beach!

House and hot tub were spotless, location was amazing, with direct access to beach down a boardwalk through the dunes, a one minute walk. Views from the house were spectacular, kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies and appliances to cook family meals. I would bring my family back here in a heartbeat! Miles of beautiful beach for walking, but beach was a bit steep, and ocean was a little too rough for swimming. This may be seasonal weather dependent.

LOCATION!!

This house was perfect for our stay in the Monterey area. The views are amazing, the beach was private and area is secluded. We took a day trip to Big Sur as well as Carmel and the Monterey Bay aquarium. I highly recommend this property.

Great stay!

Exceptionnal view of the bay! Direct access to the beach! Calm environment. Great and spacious property, just as on photos! We explored Monterey, Carmel and the coast down to Big Sur. Easily accessible by car within reasonable distance. Wonderful stay!

Great Stay Right on the Dunes

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, stylish property. Hot tub under the almost-full moon a plus. Unusually attractive, comfortable, and clean outdoor furniture for a beach rental. The beach is amazing and full of all kinds of shorebirds, and the plants and flowers on the dunes are stunning. A really special place.

Wonderful vacation spot

This was perfect for our family of 6. We loved the front patio with the hot tub, grill and kitchen/dining area. The beach was only a few steps away - and we had it completely to ourselves! It was very quiet and private - a peaceful escape. We loved the views of the ocean from the bedroom and upstairs in the living area. We will most definitely be back!

Beautiful location and great home

The beach where this property is located is beautiful! The foliage around the house is so pretty and the views from the house are lovely - you can see the pelicans flying north and south every morning and evening and walk the beach in both directions for quite a distance. The Monterey Dunes properties are private, well kept and clean as was the home. The house had everything we needed and we liked the hot tub too!

The views and setting are just spectacular. Condo perfect size for our group. Wish we had more time here. Only downfall is ants all over, especially lower level in bathrooms and in washer. Understand due to dunes, etc. Thanks for the opportunity!

Beachfront Gem -

Great unit in a wonderful location. Comfortable, well equipped with both kitchen & bathroom supplies. It has a lot of stairs for anyone with mobility concerns. Otherwise, this is a wonderful VRBO gem!

Lovely house with super views

Our family had a great couple of nights at this property. The layout of the house was lovely and the views of the dunes and tea were just wonderful. It felt very airy, comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed exploring nearby Moss Landing and seeing all the marine wildlife. Only improvements would be to perhaps improve the blinds at the windows which were a bit flimsy and some of our clothes got spoilt by the washing machine, which probably needs a good clean. Overall we would definitely recommend to other families wanting somewhere chilled to stay near to busy Monterey.

Together again at the beach

The property was perfect for getting our beach "fix" with good friends. Although it was a little cool, it was still a great place to be together. The setting was perfect, the townhouse was just as it was shown on the website. It was very clean and well equipped. The only thing we found was the bath tubs were very slick for showering, the spices were old or lacking completely, so just bring your own if you plan on cooking. All in all, a great place to stay!

Location is fantastic!

The location of this property was a dream come true. We were looking for a place with an ocean view and easy access to the beach. This property filled that desire perfectly. It is also located in a gated community which made it feel more exclusive and secure. The property itself fit our needs very well. I will say that there are a lot of stairs, so it is not a good fit for anyone with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again!

Great Vacation Home!!

We loved this house. It fit all of our needs. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. One kid slept on the couch and it was so comfy. We did have an ant issue in one of the downstairs bathrooms. We would have loved a box fan for each room to help push in the cool air from the windows since there is no AC. The beach is so close! The hot tub was small but nice. The pool was great as well.

Amazingly Peaceful with GORGEOUS views!

Rented this property for the weekend as I was looking for a place to work over the weekend with a view for total relaxation and comfort...this property did ALL that and MORE! Absolutely stunning views built on the dunes and the layout of the property is ideal for a family beach vacation or a couples retreat. Home had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, bed was comfortable, nice to have private/covered parking, and outdoor areas were vast and inviting. Be sure you stop to gather groceries and other personal things needed as the closest stores are a minimum minute drive. Highly recommend!

Moss landing vrbo

This place exceeded our expectations, all except for one thing. The interior lighting is very bright white led lighting throughout, so the spaces completely lose their beautiful warmth when it gets dark outside and you have to turn the lights on. More attention to the quality of lighting would make a huge difference. Otherwise, we all loved this property and location.
