“This location is in a bad area of town so it is gated. VERY difficult to find The owner is NOT on premise so calling them is useless. We got caught in traffic and construction. We were asked about what time we were arriving. We guessed 6 and arrived after 8 because we were lost. Repeatedly tried calling the owner with no answer. When we arrived we got a lecture for being late. Owner did not speak much English yet continued to ask us when what time we were leaving in Italian. There is……

“Stayed here for 3 nights with our 9 month old baby. The location is perfect with just a simple walk from the train station. And an easy walk to the city centre. Even with a stroller. The owners are super nice and welcomed us with coffee. Our room was spacious and clean and the pictures from the booking site captures it perfectly. The WiFi was perfect. No problem streaming Netflix and so on The breakfast was good and genuine and it really felt like we were invited to someones home in Italy.……

“The staff were nice and friendly. The location is about half an hour walk to the center. There is no parking with the unit, but there is free street parking around the area if you are lucky to find one. The room is pretty sizeable and the bed was comfortable. There is a mini fridge and AC in the room for extra heating. ”

“The "total spa" experience is very underwhelming. Access to a sauna, steam room, is not a "total" experience. The foot treatment consisting of ruining a walk on progressively more painful rocks was so bad we had to laugh. But... rooms were good and the staff were very pleasant. Everything else, that is standard, was really good.”

They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family.”

“As a Hotels.com Gold member, I was genuinely surprised by this stay. The check-in communication was nonexistent, so I had to reach out myself just to get inside. The lighting was controlled by a single key, making it awkward for two guests, and the host was inflexible about that, telling me I should not have removed the key for the light from the entrance keys. He was also quite pushy about a four-euro tax, insisting on a wire transfer and then calling and messaging multiple times over it. The……
