Good place in great location

Very good larger condo with numerous amenities that all work. You can walk to the club house, restaurant and fitness center. Lots of Palm Springs attractions within range.

Guys Golf Getaway

Very nice condo close to airport, golf and pretty much anything else you want to do in the Palm Springs area. Condo is updated, kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. Would recommend to anyone whether family or friends for golf or hiking.

Cathedral City Getaway

Needed a place to stay in the Palm Springs area in short notice. This unit in a golf course w/several pools was less expensive than hotel room. Maintenance issues were handled immediately.

Easy cathedral city getaway

Nice big three bedroom condo- clean- lots of towels and space- washer dryer- dishwasher- everything worked … pool 200 m away- quiet area and beautifully maintained- perfect for a family larger than four people

Great value

If you like quiet and value your dollars, this is an excellent choice. For the price of a hotel room we got a 3 bedroom condo. There is a shared wall with the adjacent condo but we never heard a peep. We felt safe in the Desert Princess golf course gated community. It does need a little TLC. Would definitely stay here again.

Great pLace

The place was as advertised. When I booked it through VRBO I didn’t realize you were co-advertising it with Vacasa. I have had past issues with them but went ahead with it anyway. Vacasa failed me again. I knew that the complex offered good discounts for their restaurant and golfing. But needed something from Vacasa that stated my stay with names. When I called Vacasa all I got was a run around between different people and never ended up with the paperwork so I didn’t get the discounts. I ended up paying over 250 more because of.that. My fault for not canceling the whole thing as soon as I saw Vacasa was involved. Always have had good experiences with VRBO though.

Great home on golf course

Nice home on a fairway of Desert Princess Golf Resort. Nicely furnished kitchen, included S&P and other spices, and even peanut butter. Good selection of pots, pans and plastic containers for your leftovers. Both Keurig and regular drip coffee makers, and a wine fridge! The beds are all VERY firm, and there are lots of extra pillows and pool towels. Washer/dryer in closet was a nice bonus, along with laundry pods and dryer sheets! Could use some plastic cups to take on patio or to pool. I meant to buy some but forgot. Would definitely stay here again!

Listing price is misleading

The property is lovely, clean and in a great location right on the golf course! We enjoyed our stay very much. The only negative is that the listing shows a certain nightly rate but there was a very high fee added onto the price. When I asked what those fees were I was told it was for damages, insurance and cleaning. However the fee (nor any part of it) was non-refundable. And also there was a substantial booking fee on top of everything.

Neglected Property

Towels are disintegrating, shower stopper didn't work so stood in dirty water while taking a shower, tub mat is falling apart, walls were scratched, Blinds were broken, TV didn't go on and maintenance didn't respond for 2 days. Small changes like new towels and minor repairs would make a difference in this old, dated condo.

Many small things

It’s time for the owners or a representative to stay in this unit for a few days to see all the little things that need attention. Knobs constantly fall off cupboard doors, there isn’t a knife that actually cuts, there was no vegetable peeler (I bought one and left it there), one of the ceiling lights flickers constantly, etc, etc. We had a few plumbing problems, which we contacted Vacasa about; the garbage disposal didn’t work, one of the bathroom sinks had no hot water (and the valve was impossible to turn) and the sink stopper didn’t work, the kitchen faucet was very wobbly. It took several days for the maintenance man to arrive. Thank heaven it wasn’t a toilet issue! The garbage disposal was a goner (I’m sure it was several decades old and had large holes corroded in the bottom of the unit) so we didn’t use it but that sink still drains very slowly. We love Desert Princess and the location within the complex was excellent but it’s time for some maintenance.

More than adequate ....

Overall, this updated condo suited our needs very well. It is obviously full time rental with some wear and tear as would be expected. Photos are current except there no bar stools now and the bed coverings have been updated. Cleaning supplies are super minimal but there are dollar stores nearby to get what you need. There are plenty of towels, extra blankets, and linens. The kitchen is so well supplied with dishes and pans that there was not even room for a box of cereal in the cupboards. The refrigerator was empty except for the two ice cube trays and it was very clean. We only slept on the king bed and it is firm but not uncomfortably so. The queen bedroom has a lightweight ripped window shade but we didn’t use it because it faces east and the room lights up starting at 6 am. The twin-bedded room has a large wooden office desk and office chair which take up quite a bit of the extra room. There is a washer and dryer in a hallway closet with plenty of soap pods. There were two maintenance items during our month and Vacasa responded within a day each time. BBQ is very good – heats quickly and has a full set of tools in the kitchen. We had a car rack problem and found a complete tool kit in the closet which was much appreciated. Final entry instructions were sent via email and ended up in our spam folder so look there if you think you haven’t received them. The main gate is on Vista Chino but a closer gate (only manned 7am- 3 pm) is on Landau.

Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood

The condo is in a very quiet, beautiful, golf course setting. It has the basic necessities and was reasonably clean. The highlight for us is the setting and location.

Very Nice Townhome

Beautiful golf course property

We had an excellent vacation at this property. It’s very large and well appointed. The kitchen area is well stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils. We enjoyed the front and back deck areas, and comfy chairs. The Desert Princess is a great property, with several heated pools close by. Vacassa with an easy company to work with and very responsive to all our enquiries. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
