A breathtaking getaway!

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and had such an amazing time. The home was beautiful, spacious, and close to plenty of fun activities. The host was very responsive during our stay. Overall I would absolutely go back to this house!

Beautiful stay for our wedding

We stayed here and hosted our intimate wedding in the backyard on the deck. Everything was great. The view was picturesque and the hammock and hot tub were very enjoyable. Tracy was very accommodating and responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Thank you!

Top notch spot for R&R in the Catskills

Wonderful property with amazing views in the Catskills. We had looked at a number of spots downtown and are so happy we found this gem. So peaceful to be away from the congestion and the views were amazing. Plenty of room for the four of us to spread outlet and relax. The hosts were fabulous with communicating and thought of every little detail, right down to the blankets by the door to take the chill off. Only wish we had stayed longer!

Hidden getaway

This rental was just as it looked in its pictures! I was incredibly pleased with how clean it was. It was in a very private location which was great so we didn’t disturb any neighbors nearby with outside music, talking, etc. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the beds were all very comfortable! The hot tub was very clean and worked perfectly. We couldn’t get the A/C units to kick on but it ended up cooling off at night. The sink battery in the kitchen died the last night, I would recommend putting in a regular sink so this doesn’t happen to future guests! Besides that small detail this house was incredible and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an upstate NY getaway!

Two families - 8 people - stayed here to ski Windham and worked perfectly. Secluded location but close to grocery and restaurants. Lovely, modern house. Spectacular view. Also great communication. Will rent again

Cozy NYE weekend house

We were very pleased with our stay in the Catskill mountain house. The house was very clean, updater and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The owner definitely accommodated us well and we cannot say anything bad about the place. We arrived 45 minutes early before check in while cleaning company was still there. But we were able to hang outside in the back and enjoy the beautiful Mountain View. It was a great place to take photos and really enjoyed the firepit, the fireplace in the living room and the jacuzzi. We are considering coming back for the summer. It’s a beautiful home and glad we decided to come here to celebrate our sons bday and have our own cozy NYE party.

Unable to access the property

Our family new year eve was ruined! We were planning to spend 2 nights to celebrate NYE. However, after arriving we were unable to enter the house because the host provided the wrong code to the lock. We were trying to reach him for 6 hours waiting outside. VRBO wasn’t able to reach him as well. He only got back to us when we turned around and drove back home around 6 pm. Nightmare!!!! Shame on VRBO for letting this happen.

Decent home BUT...never consider

Hot water, heater, kitchen sink tap wasn't working. There was a dead mouse in the house. I repeat a Dead mouse. Citing the issue the property manager wasn't able to help us until next day noon. What could have been an easy reset button on the heater, they made it complicated to send the heating company personnel to the property. The dead mouse was removed by the gentleman from the heating company. Our entire day schedule was messed up because of this as we were not able to get ready for the activities planned for the day (including catskills railroad). When asked for a fair refund, the owner of the property disregarded the request claiming it's so normal to find a dead rat in the house. The entire group did not enjoy the stay which resulted in a disappointing vacation experience (meeting all of them after 5 years). Heating not working/ Kitchen tap couldnt be evidenced through a pic. Unfortunately vrbo doesnt allow to add videos - else would have added few more videos.
