「Het ontvangst ging heel gemakkelijk, en Juan was erg vriendelijk. Er werd een avond maaltijd verzorgd, die wij op ons terras van de kamer hebben genuttigd. Ook het ontbijt was prima verzorgd, net als de kamer, met goede badkamer en een apart toilet. Toplocatie voor een overnachting. 」

「We had the most amazing stay at Château D’Orion! The owners, Elke and Tobias, are so friendly and accommodating and they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. 「Excellente adresse : dans les hauteurs du joli village de la Bastide-Clairence (canon by night également), petites maisons de style basque bien équipées, emplacement idéal pour rayonner alentour, personnel aux petits soins, panorama sympathique. Une belle découverte hors-saison (février). Nous essaierons de revenir en été !」

「I would go back in a heartbeat. Certainly to explore the historic local towns and the rich rolling hills, but equally to sit at Domaine Labouroume and enjoy a bottle of wine looking out over the Bearnaise countryside. Beautiful rooms (cool even in the heatwave), wonderful food cooked by the truly inspiring owners. Magical and memorable.」

「An unsympathetic rejig of an historic building, however it was clean, large comfortable bedroom with modern in suite facilities. A good base for local exploration or as a stopover.」

「Habitación muy antigua y toallas no limpias, ventilación mecánizada ruidosa, ventanas con desperfectos, falta ascensor, aire acondicionado que no funcionaba correctamente. Un Hotel Ibis muy poco recomendable, sin "budget" diría directamente. La zona muy decadente, delante una gasolinera abandonada, por si faltara que añadir algo más... 」

「We’ve stayed at a few pet friendly hotels over the years here as it’s our first stop over en route and this hotel is in a good location, overall clean and tidy . Breakfast is fine although I always think these continental breakfast’s are over priced .」

「La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et pire, le boitier du chauffage etait cassé et le chauffage est resté sur "ventilation chaude" avec un fort bruit toute la nuit ! personne de dispo selon la personne a l'accueil. Ca commence a étre compliqué dans les hotels, a force de tirer sur les dépenses... Pour info, je fais 3 nuits par semaine toute l'année」
