“Located just off the motorway and halfway on our journey, plenty of parking, looks very much like it used to be a premier inn, so needless to say comfortable bed, nice clean room, if we had to really nit pick and find fault, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, or at least not working if the was one, 1st world problems! “My start of journey train was cancelled so 2 hours later than anticipated arriving at the hotel. However the reception staff were understanding, kind and welcoming when I did arrive. “The hotel is situated next to a nature reserve , with a spa, and wellness centre. A very good location. However I found the room to have a very strong smell of damp, there was a lot of dust on top of the curtains, and lamp shades.
