"From the moment we arrived the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and had apparently just been updated. There were beach towels and chairs in the room, and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We will definitely return!"

"The people that run the lodge were so helpful! We were going to be later coming in and had to leave early the next morning so we weren’t going to be able to visit the shops and I was really disappointed because I wanted an Ocracoke souvenir - the wonderful woman working that day arranged for someone from a local shop to work with me to choose a coffee cup via text pictures and the coffee cup was delivered to our room and was waiting for us when we arrived- just amazing personal service!!! The lodge was so cute and quaint and there were even real keys to open the hotel room door! So charming! Would stay here again!"

"Super nice room, large, very clean, spacious, view of water, price was great (off season rate I’m sure). Would stay here again. Hotel attached is a little pricey (we thought it would be “just a bar”), but food was good."

"The outlets in the loft only work if the light is on so you are unable to use the fan/charge phones etc. unless the lights are on. I would recommend bringing a battery powered fan it can get quite hot up there at night even with the AC on. Overall good experience!"

"This property was wonderful!! We hope to make it a yearly trip. Peaceful and quiet and only 45 min to Beaufort! We saw dolphins, pelicans, blue herons, crabs and caught a few fish! Couldn’t have been better. The Laudermilks were great hosts and have thought of everything to make the vacation home perfect!"
