This property was perfect for a couples getaway weekend. It has 1.5 bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. Very clean and cozy with a screen porch overlooking the neighborhood. It’s close to dining and shopping options. We would definitely rent it again!

Great Location

Besides the great location walking distances are short to a host of restaurants and all other island points of interest. The house was roomy, clean and well prepared for our stay. Highly recommend along with professional assistance from the management team.

Short getaway

We had a wonderful time at this house in Cedar Key. Easy, pretty walk to all of the shops, restaurants, pier and park area. The house was nicely decorated and perfect for us. It is on a quiet neighborhood. This was our first time in Cedar Key but we definitely plan to come back!

Cedar Key getaway

The beach shack is a great place for a summertime getaway in Cedar Key. Great management, quiet spot, and most importantly a good firm bed (a pox on all those who rent broken down, saggy beds)! The shack is a small space and residents must be able to climb stairs but it was exactly as advertised. There was practically no one in Cedar Key and nothing going on, and as a resident of Way Too Many People, FL, that was exactly what I wanted! Great place for a nature coast island getaway!

Perfect for couples

While it’s a small home, it’s bigger than it appears in the photos. Perfect for a couple, but would be a bit crowded with any more than 2. Everything was clean and in good working condition. Very short walk to the water. It was fun watching all the dolphins splashing around. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway.

This property was extremely clean and just as advertised. I loved that it was extremely close to the downtown area, which made it very walkable. I felt completely safe to walk at night, which was important being that I was a solo, female traveler. I brought my bike to enjoy biking all around the island. The management company was so accommodating and extremely responsive. I would definitely use them again for future visits. The front porch also made for a great workspace, if one were to need to work remotely.

If your looking for a place to just get away and relax Cedar Key is that place. Everything is within walking distance. The 2nd st cafe and Steamers restuarant had great food and service. The Beach Shack was very clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The host responded to all questions/ concerns immediately.
