It is what u would expect for a rugged cabin. We had cabin 12. Hopefully it will be next on the update list. But there is a lot newer cabins. And overall worth the price. Staff was great!

Was a little different to have the toilet and sink in a little room in one bedroom and the shower in the other bedroom. Definitely a unique experience. Probably will not repeat it because of the cost.

Everything was good but I have two charges pending for my dogs stay. There was some confusion on how to add it since you cannot add through Expedia. Also we were never given a room key, just told us it was unlocked. Never did get a key in our two nights there but never really needed it. Overall very friendly staff but slightly understaffed.

The best features of the Grand Mesa Lodge is its location as the Crag Crest Trail system is near by. The Lodge/bar area is very good with decent food and bar facilities. The rooms at the “motel suite” is like visiting a decaying deer camp from 1978. We had no hot water for two days and spent too much time on this issue. The motel has a kitchen so bring your own groceries. Good location but a rough motel room.

this a no frills cabin! not many outlets for charging devices if your on the move. also missing curtains for windows in the cabin 15 i stayed in. was a lil creepy having lights on at night with no cabins in some of the windows downstairs. other than that it was nice for the location.

The upstairs smelled like animal feces and urine. Stairway was very narrow and steep and hard to maneuver. Futon in living room was terribly uncomfortable. It was one of the worst nights we ever had.

Cabin was very clean. Would have helped to have some sort of cleaning supplies to wipe down counters and tables. There were broken windows and the door had a huge crack making it a bit drafty. Overall for a spur of the moment camping trip it met our needs perfectly.

The access to the front door was walking from the road, that was uphill from the cabin, down a big boulder..no steps to get down to the cabin. it had a futon that looked 30 yrs worn, no padding in the cushion. the steps up to the beds were extremely steep and dangerous.. no back boards on the steps, like walking a steep ladder. we can do steps... but this was ridiculous. tried to request a different cabin, They were so low staffed, that only one person was assigned cleaning all the cabins for that day. totally non refundable.. what a waste of a day and $$$
