「Everything about the Hotel Stelvio was great. A lovely welcome when we arrived and a spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. (And a lovely view of the mountains!) The bathroom was spotless too. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food and there was also a great selection of teas available. The location was great, about 7 mins walk from the train station. We would definitely stay here again when in Tirano. 」

「Stayed in a new room as they’re expanding. Clean, convenient, great staff and convenience of an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful. Great spot with great views but about a 5 minute walk including over a pedestrian bridge to get to the main building which includes the restaurant and reception area. Walk is safe, mostly flat with sidewalks but runs parallel to busy street. Scenery is gorgeous!! One person in our party has mobility issues but managed it fine. 」

「Wonderful hotel run by wonderful people. This is the second time that I stay here: Last Summer they rented me a bike for free and I went all around Lake Iseo; this year they offered me a discounted ticket for the famous spa, which is the town’s main attraction. It was a pleasure to talk with the owner of the hotel and share stories with him. And it is always amazing to admire and taste the huge variety of cakes being offered for breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality… and see you again next...

「This was an amazing find! The room was spacious with a separate dressing area and huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff of this family-run hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. Great value for money and definitely to be recommended. 」
