“This unit is in a great area of Périgueux, just across the river from the centre of the city. I loved the location as it was an easy walk to the cathedral and the market held in that part of town; there are restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops near the cathedral; an easy walk to the Intermarché for my supplies; an even easier walk to a wonderful patisserie/boulangerie (try the croissant for sure, the best I have had in a long time). “A beautifully located house with views of trees and hillsides all around. We stayed in the gite directly under the main (the owners') building - all tastefully decorated and all very comfortable. The pool was very refreshing and much needed as temperatures reached 40c! We sat and ate in the garden area, with plants and figures surrounding us. Plenty of character and charm. The owners, Sandra and Alun, were very hospitable and made sure our stay was perfect for us. :-) ”
