“Check in was easy and host very friendly. The cabin was nicely appointed with comfortable beds and plenty of towels and supplies. It is a rustic cabin so don't expect the Hilton, but we had plenty of room to relax. Great fire pit out back. Lots of beds upstairs for kids (or adults).. Bathrooms are rather small but adequate and clean”

“The cabin was clean and very nice for what it is. Full kitchen with dishes. Nice sitting areas inside and out. Only issues we had was the charging plugs. There are two cabins plus a camper being rented on this property. There aren’t enough plugs to accommodate all of them and the main issue is they are not 110 volt plugs. They are camper plugs, luckily one of the other tenants had an adapter and we had a 3-way plug to make it work. All in all I would stay again, but the charging issue is a major……

“This place is PERFECT!! The cabin is super nice and cozy.. boat house is great to park boat overnight and charge for the next days fishing.. location is great and you can begin fishing without having ever cranking the outboard. If you don’t have a boat, you can catch crappie off the dock!! The store has bait, ice, and gas.. what more could you need?! Tina was EXCELLENT to communicate with!! Extremely nice, helpful, and very responsive.. upon my next trip to Toledo Bend, this place will be #1 on……

“We reached out to the host around 5pm on the day we were to arrive (I received a confirmation email of my booking) to get info on how to get into the house and we were told the house was double booked and they were sorry but we didn’t have a place to stay. So we were there needing a place to stay with nothing. Extremely disappointed!! Second time this has happened with VRBO!! Horrible situation for anyone! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!”

“Cozy little comfortable cabin. Our host Pastor Alan was a very friendly person and he helped us settle in when we arrived. He brought us some tamales while we were there. Caught enough fish to have two great meals. Had a situtation where i had to leave early, and he got with vrbo to refund some of my rental, I will come back and stay here again.”
