“The Kimpton Arras is very conveniently located in downtown Asheville. Very well maintained (new) and the staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. Loved the courtesy evening wine and beer - a nice touch! Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-end hotel.”

“Why do I have to pay $18.65 a night for parking when I am paying $200+ a night to stay at this hotel? I was also disappointed in the coffee situation. There were 2 packs of instant Folgers coffee in the room, still not sure if I would have been charged to use them. There is coffee available at their café downstairs at 7 AM for $3.50….. of course after you stand in line waiting with everyone else. Other than the coffee & parking, it is a very unique hotel that is perfect for the art district.……

“The absolute most adorable bed and breakfast. Beautifully decorated, spotless clean, conveniently located. An absolute gem. The breakfast was delicious and 5 star quality. Erica and her hubby are super sweet and professional. Too many lovely touches to mention.”

“Hotel was very clean - from entry way to elevators to hallway to room. The hotel was very busy based on elevator traffic, but didn't hear a peep from other guests. Great location in the middle of downtown. REALLY appreciate the self park - and unlimited in and out access. Plus the parking is mostly reserved for guests so you don't have to worry about finding a spot! Front desk very kind.”

“I travel frequently for work and pleasure and this hotel was probably the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean. The rooms were spotless. And I am not easily impressed, especially on cleanliness. And it even smelled clean. Not some deodorizer scents to cover up smells. It just smelled like its kept clean. It was also quiet. It was pretty full based on the number of guests in the public areas and parking lot but I heard very little outside or inside noise. The only……

“The air conditioning system kept tripping and the room was heard through out the night making it difficult to sleep”

“Spacious room, despite the road noise. This room has a large balcony patio but no furniture to even enjoy it. The pull out couch is not what you may expect not a true pull out with mattress more of a foldout onto the floor. Upon check in we were told housekeeping every other day, but apparently that starts after 3 nights of stay??? Family of 4 in a room means you will likely run out of things and trash will accumulate. Seems like staff doesn’t really truly know housekeeping policy. Otherwise……

“The biggest drawbacks to the room Were size, lack of in room amenities ( primarily a coffee maker) the bed linens / blanket were so thin I froze all night because the AC would never shut off- regardless of the temp it was set at”
