「It was a very nice, clean and peaceful place to staff. The staff were very friendly too.」

「Hotel was rated 10 out of 10. Pictures were deceiving. Noticed afterwards that all of the 10 ratings were not verified by Expedia. It was extremely rundown. Embarrassed that I took my wife there.」

「This is a complete crap hole. Do not pay attention to the pictures or positive reviews. The pictures are AI and the reviews are clearly fake. If you book a reservation here, don't say you weren't warned. You're welcome」

「The Scholar's Cottage was one of the most well-rounded VRBO homes we've stayed in. It is a charming, old home with character, lovingly updated where it matters for comfort, in a quiet, green and safe neighborhood. The bed (King) was very comfortable, and the linens and towels were high quality. The home was very clean. Keurig coffee maker with Keurig pods in the kitchen for your morning coffee. We only spent two nights but would definitely consider staying there again if we are in RIchmond....

「This is a wonderful historic property if you're into a vintage stay. We were. The home is lovely. The only disadvantages are not having a host on-site and having to get luggage up the stairs without an elevator or bellhop assitance; there are no bedrooms on the ground floor. And being vintage, it takes quite a while to adjust the temperature to where you want it. Also, it would be helpful to have television instructions; we were never able to figure out how to get anything on the TV.」

「A small but charming 1 bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. The furniture, especially the bed, was very comfortable. The kitchen came stocked with some supplies, including coffee pods for the Keurig machine. It was very helpful that there was a washer/dryer with detergent. Off-street parking was not available but there was always a spot on the street out in front. We enjoyed our stay.」
