“The house and properly are very beautiful. The hot tub water was a little stale at first but once we had it open and jets flowing it was fine. The rooms are great size with clean beds. House was plenty furnished. Gate with code to get on property so plenty safe with an easy driveway and parking area. Would definitely stay again and recommend.”

“It was just what I imagined, off grid, affordable and an end of the road adventure. Ed and Lynn are some of nicest most accommodating hosts. They helped find affordable adventures even joined us for fishing and snorkeling. Their convenient store and local food suggestions saved me tons of money! If your looking for an OFF GRID adventure this your place!!! ”

“This family is the sweetest family on the entire island. "Chat n Chill" has its name for a reason. Be sure to pet the family doggo!! Shes a cutie. Camping over the water was such a unique experience which takes an adjustment period. The only concern is the road getting there..... its a dirt road thats extremely bumpy for a solid 50 minutes. If you want the liveliness of the Town of San Pedro then this is not the place for you. If you want tranquillity, peace and quiet, and to just be able……

“The space is well laid out and the beds and sectional sofa are sooo comfortable! Loved seeing the parrots fly around twice a day and the monkeys in the trees right over our heads!Peaceful location for a relaxing stay. ”

“The host family was beyond welcoming...above and beyond every turn, and genuinely kind people. If you want to call this place "glamping", okay but as a veteran glamper, this much more. We enjoyed every minute.”

“The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one……

“This was perfect for my week long stay with my beagle - we both had a great time. Barbara even had a dog bed and food/water bowl set up for him in the living room. Everything is just as described, the photos are current, and the space is very clean. Barbara was quick to respond to any questions about the neighborhood or anything else.I would definitely stay here again. Barbara and Dan are both lovely, and the space was very cozy and just right for us. ”
