「A wonderful stay! The hosts thought of everything and more. Jen was super responsive to my questions. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and even nicer than the photos. We felt right at home. The moment we walked in, my husband commented that the place looked even nicer than the photos. 」

「We very much enjoyed our stay at Muckleford Forest Cottage. We awoke to birdsong every morning and were cosy and comfortable in the lovely cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our dog loved it there as he explored the large backyard.Elbert was a great host!We’ll be back.Colleen and Graham.」

「Beautiful house, which was large and very comfortable. Wonderful little touches like breakfast cereal, milk and juice for the first morning. Lovely coffee machine with beans as well. View was lovely to just sit and watch for hours and so quiet. Perfect location for a break.」

「The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay.」

「Property was a gem, in a quiet area but short distance from the main town. Facilities were super, and we plus dog settled in quickly and easily. The Daylesford region itself was full of interesting and walks, glorious vistas, and plenty of places to stop off for tasty treats and tipples. We will had to return in the near future for more!」
