「It was a very nice place to stay, but what made it even more special was the man at the front desk! He went out of his way to help me. The breakfast was delicious, beds were comfortable. I will be going back! Highly recommended. 」

「Our stay was not great. The hotel and room both smelled like dog, the room was not especially clean, and we had ants in our room. The bathroom door frame was loose and made a very loud noise every time the door opened. Breakfast was also sub-par. The biggest concern was that staff told someone else what room we were staying in. Even though it was someone we knew, that felt like a real breach of privacy and trust. There were some positives: the room had a Keurig and fridge, the waffle maker was...

「Property is in serious need of updates. Chunks were missing out of the bathtub. This used to be a very nice property, but hasn't been maintained well or updated in decades.」

「Our stay at Hotel Frederick was really nice. I love the historic building and love all of the antique furniture. My husband actually wished there was an iron so he could iron his pants, but there was not, and no hangers in the armoire. But, those things are trivial. The sheets were super soft. There was even music that weekend in the downstairs bar.」

「The decor was pretty stark: no carpet, the room had little furniture, the TV was maybe a 32” unit. AC worked very well and the bed was comfortable but the sheets looked like it was ( I hope!) stained and there were only two pillows. The floor of the shower was kind of sketchy. Towels were clean, water was hot. For the money, it was okay.」
