"We booked thinking this was 2 star but it’s definitely a 3 star hotel so we were pleasantly surprised. The ‘spa’ bit is €40/hr private hire and downstairs, no windows so we gave that a skip. The room with balcony and sea view was lovely with a fridge but no kettle. We didn’t partake in €12 pp breakfast. There is a bar/restaurant on 5th floor with sea views and an amazing astroturf roof terrace on 6th floor with lots of seating -again a really lovely surprise. All in all I couldn’t work out why the Trip advisor reviews were so bad, we had a lovely time!"

"No drinks or hors d’oeuvres provided on check in as stated in booking confirmation email. Only 2 bottles of water, a cereal sachet and 3 tea bags. No information provided about use of nearby pool or nearby restaurants etc provided as stated. Accommodation website states that the Old Town is a “few steps” away which is not correct, it is a 20 minutes walk. Also states it is near the beach which is a 30 minute walk away. A concern for those with mobility constraints who may book the accommodations based on this information. Not connected to a shopping centre as stated. Curtains in kitchen/dining and bedroom do not cover all of windows area so there is a lack of privacy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress and pillows hard and the bed linen provided was not “premium” as indicated. The sheets were bobbled and oldish. Other guests staying above us talked loudly into early hours of morning and we could hear loud snoring once they went to sleep. Rooms are nowhere near soundproofed. TV which included Netflix and Prime did not have any English speaking channels and there were no instruction on how to use the remote. No computer or laptop work station provided as stated. There were some positive features, there is a supermarket 100 metres away, access to a washing machine was great, easy parking in the street, access to a nice garden area and having a kitchen was good (but the range hood over the stove needs maintenance as very unclean and rusty in parts). "

"Fantastic, spacious and very well equipped villa set amidst rolling hills just outside Alghero. We were a family of four with kids aged 7 and 10 and had a wonderful week, making full use of the pool and exploring the local beaches. Nicola was a kind and gracious host, always available to help. Highly recommended. "

"Well equipped villa - although the coffee machine and dishwasher were not functioning (despite the assistance of owner). A/C works very well. Owner should provide better info on how to use équipement at check in (or post on équipement) offer a start basket (toilet paper, garbage bags, etc). And provide larger garbage bins - as guests have to carry all to the city. With the luxury of the house, some basics should be provided at first. There are only 4 bedrooms - the 5th bed is on a tinny and opened mezzanine. The 4th bedroom is separate from the rest of the house, on a much lower level. Like a « honeymoon suite ». There is no access to the sea - you cannot swim in front of the house. But the views and sunsets are incredible. From the house, pool and coves. "

"My family and I recently stayed in the gorgeous Villa, which was an ideal quite rural location, but within 10 minutes of Alghero. From start to end, Simone, was a great host, providing good information and helping where needed. The villa was immaculate, well stocked and a joy to spend time, enjoying the pool and view. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Island"
