“The Avid decor is fun, bright, minimalist and the rooms are spacious. We had a walk-in shower that was excellent. On the downside, there is no way to fully silence the heat/ac. Even when turned off it still buzzes. Also the matress on the bed was worn out and uncomfortable.”

“It’s a great hotel with wonderful staff, but there is very little within walking distance. Had hoped to do some shopping but after driving to find someplace to shop, everything was closed. If you are a hotel snob who lives on room service and the exercise room, it’s just great. For me, however, give me a place with vending machines and a simple microwave located near a bustling shopping mall, not an artwork in the middle of nothing and nowhere. “The continental breakfast was okay. I was in Minneapolis the whole week and had stayed 4 hotels. This one is the most expensive but their breakfast is like America Inn offered. Most time the front desk put poker face and if there was two people, they were just talking with each other. The last night we stayed was awful because there was no hot water for shower since 5pm. I called front desk and they said they have someone to take care of it but no one called back to explain the situation. At……
