“Very comfortable cabin and sweet welcome basket/personal note. We enjoyed sitting on porch and watching the FICA World Cup during our stay. Host was very friendly, checking on us and offering suggestions on things to do. Enjoyed our trips to Tin Cup, St. Elmo and lovely walk along river in BV. Loved being greeted by the Pranghorn on the road to the cabin on several occasions.”

“The property had more to offer than we expected. The cabins were perfect for what we needed. The River behind the cabins was a great place to relax after we hiked Mount Shavano. Charles was pleasant to talk to and offer help if we needed any. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely consider staying at the Cabins again.”

“This house is prefect for us! It’s exactly where we like to stay in order to access water and hiking. It’s also close to Salida so we were able to enjoy that as well. Leona is very responsive and easy to work with. See you next summer!”

“Very nice cabin. We enjoyed our stay celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary.”

Ok if just one family, awkward if not. Loved the magnificent views from every room. Cool enough at night that AC wasn’t needed. Beautiful decor.”

“Needs more plates and bowls and skillet and kitchen towels and dish rags in the kitchen.”

“We loved the beautiful cabin it was cozy and everything it was stocked. The only thing was no trash container on site”

It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer available to wash and dry our trail clothes so that we weren’t having to go a laundromat to wash clothes. We often cooked……
