“Very cute rustic hotel, was clean and quaint. Had a good sized mini fridge , microwave. Could sit outside your room in the am -bench outside rooms or go downstairs. Surrounded by trees, a nice getaway.”

“The place was a little worn but you don’t want somewhere in an outdoorsy mountain town to be pristine; it would distract from the environment. A stay in May is great. Chilly outside but warm in the little cabin. Great contrast. The jetted tub next to the fireplace, in view of the tv, was pretty awesome. The internet was spotty in my phone and iPad but worked fine with the streaming device I brought. I did need to bring a streaming device because there was no cable or tv signal. There’s no check……

“so cute and well done with care and love. Neighborhood was so very quite. We had a very peaceful 4 day stay, just what we were looking for. I would have liked more light to read, but did it on front porch and back patio. We stay again on next Big Bear visit. Host is super nice.”

“ Nice cozy place but it’s for 4-5 adults . The pullout couch is nicer than the one in the pictures, but not big enough for two adults and it’s hard. We had an inflatable with us, thank God. I emailed Kristen (guest contact) but never heard back, I was requesting 1-2 hour late check out because 10am is a bit early for me, specially when, they request you tidy up the place or there could be added fees. Zero communication is what I like ! ”

“As a single dad, I travel with my little one frequently. Great cabin that is centrally located. It was like a step back in time, but in a good way. Whenever I travel, I always find a place with a kitchenette, this saves me money. I purchase my food and then take with m to cook on site. This way I can afford to take my daughter out to eat. This is a great setup, kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. Even though it was cold, we sat outside at the cute tables and chairs to feel the sun. This……

“Excellent cozy cabin for a small family near Big Bear. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Great location close enough to everything the area has to offer but far enough away to be peaceful. Instructions were easy and straightforward. Would stay here again!”

“There were only 4 cereal bowls we found, so plan accordingly. The heater didn’t work too well so it was cold until our very last day. The value was very good and overall we were happy. The lack of heat was the biggest bummer. There is a fireplace, bring firewood!”
