"Pas de wifi, peu de vaisselle, pas de sèche cheveux. Mal chauffé. Le sèche linge, le lave linge et l'aspirateur sales. Tout au long du séjour il a fallut faire des réclamations. L'annonce ne correspond pas du tout à la prestation et nous en avons informé le propriétaire"

"We stayed at the house for a week with a group of 9 friends. The house itself was great! We were kindly welcomed by Jean Pierre who gave us some great tips on what to do in the area. The ruins of Donzy are nice to visit, and the hilly region is beautiful to walk through. Otherwise there is little to do for tourists in Panissières itself, it's just a regular French village. Luckily there are large cities (Lyon and Saint-Etienne) within a one hour drive. The same goes for the Beaujolais wine...

"Excellent contact avec l'hébergeur. Hébergement parfait et très central avec tout à moins de 400 m dont un cinéma, une borne de recharge pour mon véhicule électrique, les croissants à 50 m.Vous avez oublié les détails (papier toilette, gel douche, liquide vaisselle, savon, etc.) pas de problème c'est sur place. Idéal pour les couples. Nous voulions rester trois nuits. Seulement deux disponibles. Dommage."

"We had a fantastic stay here in the house and used the pool a lot! A great halfway point between Calais and Nice if driving down. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. When we stayed the temperature was over 30 degs outside but it did not feel too warm inside which was helpful. The property has a huge garden with swings and a play house which was fun for the kids to use. "Nous avons passés une semaine au chalet de la roche absolument fantastique. Brice est au service de ces hôtes il nous a même fourni le sapin pour notre semaine de Noël au chalet. Nous avons beaucoup de neige et n'a pas hésité à deneiger plusieurs fois le parking "

Évidement l'autoroute d'un côté et le matin le train de l'autre mais avec des bouchons d'oreilles que je n'oublie jamais cela permet de passer une exelente nuit même si on se lève tôt ! Pensez y ! "Its a really neat/cool place to stay for a night. The chateau is a little run down (as expected as its construction started in 1231), but that adds to its charm. The hotel room was beautiful and clean. The only issue was pink/orange mould on the bottom of the shower curtain. We also had the best meal on our Southern France trip at a nearby restaurant (Authentique restaurant)."
