Mike and his wife are very welcoming and willing to help, facilities are great. Mini bar is incredibly well priced and theres a cheap bus 5 minute walk from the hotel that takes you to the city centre in around 25 minutes.

We only stayed for a short while as we were waiting on our late flight home and needed a room/ shower. However, the rooms were really nice, opening out, with a back door(s), to the pool. The pool is large and deep with an adjacent pool bar and seating. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also available. The apartment was spacious and had a small kitchen area. A well stocked fridge with various drinks was much appreciated and worked on a self-service honesty payment. Mike and Inka were super friendly hosts and although we didn't spend the night, I have no doubt this would have been very good. There are some great restaurants within a 10 minute walk along the sea front. If we were to return in the future to this area, we would certainly stay at Alexandros Studios without a second thought. Just be mindful when booking this location that there are 2 establishments with the exact same name, one being in Chania.

Huge thank you to Mike and Inka for making our stay superb. The hotel was great. Mikes tips, suggestions and secret beaches were fantastic and made our stay in Crete a dream vacation we wont forget. I personally enjoyed the night caps every night at Mikes bar listening to his stories. Cheers to Mike and Inka.

We had an amazing stay at Alexandros Studios and made our time in Chania so welcoming. Mike and Inka are fabulous hosts that will always go out of their way to help and make you feel comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. Mike will do a wonderful job of giving you a plan of things to do with all the best tips and advice.

Owners Mike & Inka are amazing people. Mike will give you warm welcome and give you many great advice for your holiday if you need. Breakfest is very good and versatile. Place is quet and clean. Only downsize is the big hill to hike of the mainroad to the apartment.

Spent a week at Mike and Inka's studios. Mike was waiting for us at the airport for our pick up with a bottle of water each. Very happy with our top floor studio, drinks prices on wall for fridge were very reasonable. Comfy large bed and pillows, great air con. Mike recommended local restaurants to us. Great breakfast every morning, lovely to sit outside. Good pool, we were sometimes the only ones there! Look forward to returning next year!

We had an amazing week at "Alexandros Studios" early Sept '24. Mike & Inka were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough to help and make us feel welcome. Our room was brilliant, clean and spacious with A/C in the bedroom (a must as it was very hot that week!). The breakfast was out of this world, pretty much anything you could wish for was there, meats, cheeses, hot brekkie, fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, coffee/espresso, tea, juices (incl. "press your own orange juice"!) pastries, etc. etc. We will definitely go back and recommend this property very highly. Thank you so much M & I for a superb week! PS "What a life!" ;-) Pia & Melvin

Value for money - Great hosts - Great location

We had a very pleasant stay. Mike and his wife were the best hosts we ever had experienced - always open and ready to help you. The cleaning ladies did a great job every day - always lovely and clean. We never miss out on anything. The location was perfect, less than 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants.

Great stay at Alexandros Studios, quiet location, lovely pool. Mike makes your stay great with his infectious personality and recommendations. Unfortunately Wifi was weak. You definitely need a car in Crete and if you are staying here to get around.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Mike collected us at the airport even though our flight arrived very late. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was wonderful with a really great selection of food. We had booked half board and so Mike drove us to Nesaki restaurant every night where we enjoyed an excellent dinner and then he collected us when we had finished our meal. Both Mike and Inka were so friendly and helpful that we felt we were staying with friends rather than staying in a hotel. Despite being almost 80 years old we did not find the walk up the hill too bad at all although we might feel differently if we visited in the summer when it was hotter! We feel that we could not have had a better holiday

Wo soll ich anfangen ? Die beiden Gastgeber sind einfach toll, immer gut gelaunt, immer offen für einen kleinen Smalltalk, immer bemüht, das der Gast sich rundum wohlfühlt, incl. Empfehlungen für Ausflüge bzw. gute Restaurants und Tavernen in der Nähe. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr sauber, mit Blick Richtung Meer. Das Frühstück war einfach fantastisch, riesige Auswahl, frischgepresster Orangensaft, griechische Spezialitäten und eine wunderbare Terrasse auf der man frühstücken kann, auch hier wieder mit Blick zum Meer. Der Pool ist auch positiv zu erwähnen, incl. der kleinen Poolbar, einfach schön. Definitiv auch für Familien geeignet. Beim nächsten Kreta-Besuch bleiben wir definitiv länger als 4 Tage.
