Best location in Chania! We could walk to city center in minutes. Alex, the manager, loaned me a Hulu g pole to do Samaria Gorge - much appreciated! He found us parking and helped us navigate the city. The room and location are very quiet! Even had a fridge stocked with wine, beer, water, and sodas for us. Great stay!
These apartments are set around a quiet courtyard shaded by a large lemon tree. Lovely to relax in on the many tables and chairs, especially on a warm afternoon. We had a ground floor apartment which was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The welcome drinks in the fridge were much appreciated.
Kasteli Suites was perfectly located right near the port of chania. It was an easy 2-4 minutes walking before you were downtown. The space was spacious and did not feel crowded, it also felt very clean and comfortable. They provided a parking spot for our car which make it so easy instead of looking for parking for hours. However there are a lot of steps inside (3 floors) if you are not comfortable or unable to do that
We had a 1st floor apartment off the quiet shared courtyard. The apartment had everything you need, including some complimentary drinks in the fridge; the courtyard was shaded by a lovely lemon tree with plenty of seats and tables. Parking was in an off road compound some 100m away; well worthwhile as on street parking is very difficult. The manager, Alex, was a great character, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He was always available when needed. The location of the apartment is excellent, being only some 200m from the old harbour.
This stay was worth the money. Because of delays in travel we got there almost check in closing time. Alexander was nice enough to wait for us. He was very attentive and made sure our stay went well. He even helped us with parking. Great location as it is just 5 min walk to the harbor with restaurants and shops. If we plan to go back we’ll definitely stay here again.
Not sure where to start. Everything was excellent with our stay in Chania from our arrival to departure. Property is owned and managed by a loving family. They greeted us and took care of us like family. The house was above and beyond our expectations. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. Great walkable location. Hosts were available to make suggestions and routinely asked if we needed anything. The property also has parking that was available which is a big plus. Parking is difficult and having a parking easily available whenever needed made everything much easier. We are already planning our next trip to Chania and can’t wait to stay here again.
Great little suite in an awesome location 2 minutes from the main drag but off in a little back road so it's totally quiet & peaceful. Lovely shared courtyard area where you can rest/read/drink through the day & the owner was super helpful with restaurant recommendations & even booked us a discounted (€25) taxi back to the airport.
A slightly bigger bathroom would have been nice but otherwise hard to fault.
It was a great place, next to the old city. Very clean apartment. The hotel owner is one of the nicest people I ‘ve met. This place is absolutely recommended.
Kastelli suites is excellently located, within an easy walk of the old harbour (and present focus of “social life” - for visitors, at least). The owner is very friendly and kind. The room I was in was spacious and comfortable. I only really ran into one problem...on the first day of the first summer heatwave, both hot and cold tapes ran scalding hot water, which made it impossible to shower (in late afternoon). The cold water tank is on the room and I think the sun had heated it. The owner’s suggestion was to let the water run but after 30 minutes, I gave up. So if you are there during a hot period, beware!
Fabulous suites in an ideal location. The old buildings have been refurbished and modernised and are an oasis amongst all the other buildings. Alex looked after us from arrival to departure. We could not have found any better accommodation. Highly recommended. When we come back to Chania we will not look to stay anywhere else.
The owner, Alex, was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the area and our room had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean.
Welcome drinks and fruits is nice. But it's deceitful to put "jetted tub" on the name of the room and under "facilities" while in fact, you need to pay 50euro per day to use it! This condition is not shown until after you paid! Without the jetted tub, the room is seriously overpriced. If we knew it, we would never booked such an expensive room.
The studio was as pictured - basic but comfortable and clean. The room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. The location is excellent - only a few minutes walk from the old town and the Venetian harbour, but tucked away to the side so that there was no noise at all. The host, Alex, is excellent - extremely friendly and always ready to help with excursions, restaurant tips and more. Would recommend.
Our arrival was later than anticipated, but the owner remained late to welcome us to his home. Owner was readily available throughout our stay to assist with pharmacy needs, restaurant recommendations and to tell us about the history of the area. Home was exceptional and we definitely would stay here again.
The host Alexandros was excellent!! Perfect place and location in Chania!

Short walk to the heart of Chania and beyond beautiful property and home!
Coming to Chania and having Alex (owner) greet us with open arms was by far the best part of Casa Kasteli! He is warm and personable and always smiling and accommodating for any want or need you may have. The 3 bedroom home we stayed in had a gorgeous courtyard with a huge lime tree to shade it! The house itself was incredibly clean with beautiful architecture and furniture. Alex provided us with the best amenities such as drinks in our fridge and fresh fruit as well! I felt like part of his family and he welcomed us all as such. If I come to Chania again I will not stay anywhere else!

Close to everything
The location of this apartment was great. We stayed here for 6 nights. Having a small kitchen was really convenient. The area was very safe. Everything was within walking distance. There was parking available if you had a car. The hotel owner, Alex was very helpful and friendly. He was full of suggestions as to where to go to visit and helped us plan our travel. The only small issue was with the tiny shower, but it was manageable. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed in this apartment overnight whilst driving around Crete. The location is amazingly close to the waterfront and old town. Parking was available however we managed to park nearby without any issues. The apartments are tucked away off the Main Street, therefore quiet and peaceful. Rooms are good value, basic but clean. If you are driving here, definitely use a GPS as it is a maze. Once you have parked and checked in, the old town is all walkable.
A convenient and spacious apartment near the old town. We could easily walk to all the places in old town and parking was easy. They have a private lot but you can also park on the street. The door to the bedroom wouldn't close properly, and we needed to keep the cool air from the AC in, so we had to prop a chair to keep it closed. The service was great. There was a courtyard where you could sit and relax as well.
Locazione eccellente, tutte le zone migliori di Chania raggiungibili facilmente. Ottima ricevimento, il signore si è prodigato in spiegazioni dettagliate.
Molto importante anche il parcheggio privato
Simple, clean, and cozy. Chania provides the rest!
This is perfect studio bungalow for a self-sufficient couple without need for handholding. The father and daughter who run the place were very friendly, and accessible when we needed them (although we didn't really) and were able to provide suggestions, like for a beautiful beach destination. Perhaps most important was that they provided a (very basic) parking lot for your rental car (which you'll want on Crete) providing the peace of mind of no sideswipes from street parking on the narrow cobblestone streets of Chania. If you're looking for premium finish and fixtures with amenities like large shower + bathtub, 24hr concierge, room service etc, this place isn't probably for you. If quaint and simple is okay, then you'll appreciate being tucked away on the outskirts of old town, where you can still drive up to your accommodations, yet the pedestrian-only center of town is only blocks away.
