Tranquil 3-bed seaside cottage

Discover tranquility and relaxation by the sea in this beautiful cottage situated in the Agii Apostoli area of Chania.
The cottage is a fully-equipped residence with its own private gardens surrounded by trees and flowers offering privacy.

The cottage is a fully-equipped residence with its own private gardens surrounded by trees and flowers offering privacy and calmness which make it ideal for families and couples. Just 50m away from the main house you can find yourselves walking in the beautiful park adjacent to the property or swimming in the crystal clear waters of Agii Apostoli beach (awarded with the “blue flag” prize for clean waters).

The house itself comprises of 3 large bedrooms with 2 double bed and 2 single beds. It has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, bathroom with shower and 24h hot water supply, living area with an air condition unit, wardrobes and a writing desk. There is free internet access, and cable television. It also has spacious garden, a barbeque and an outside large terrace with a big table and comfortable chairs. Cleaning and bedding change service is provided twice a week. It has its own private parking space and pets are allowed.

A short 14 km drive to the west from Chania International Airport will get you to the property, situated in the popular area of Agii Apostoli.

The cottage is close to a large selection of amenities such as super-markets, car rental services, gift shops and cafes as well as a 10 minute drive away from Chania city center with the famous and picturesque Old Port and the vivid night life.

Besides Chania and the nearby beaches you can also visit a lot of traditional villages situated close to the area and taste exceptional Greek food and experience the Greek hospitality.There is a frequent (every 10-20 min) local bus service to Chania and the surrounding villages as well a frequent public bus service for visiting other parts of the island.Between May and the beginning of October, temperature ranges from 25-35oC which makes it ideal period for visiting the island.

Dream of a holiday

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Thanos and his family were the perfect hosts. Friendly, generous and always helpful. We were greatly provided for and every wish, no matter if it concerned sun loungers, bbq or towels was promptly catered to. The property is very clean with a lovely garden and Patio. The back garden is perfect and quiet for sunning and relaxing. Beaches are all in walking distance, as well as a great choice of Restaurants. While we are all adults, the house is great for children too. We would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing holiday, without the noise of a hotel and many people, but still very well taken care of by a lovely host. Personally, once more, Thanos, thank you for everything and all the best!

Wonderful

Our hosts met us at the property. It was everything we could of asked for. Clean and spacious in a great location, He was so helpful, when I locked myself out he was there within 15 mins with spare keys. He even brought us charcoal when we wanted to use the grill outside. The house is great with a beautiful outside area, the local beach is excellent and the local tavernas were very nice. Chania is easy to get to but the house is far enough away to avoiud the traffic and bustle of a big town.

Couldn't ask for better hosts

Thanos and his father were most friendly and generous; nothing was too much trouble for them. The house was clean and had plenty of blankets, which we needed as we picked a cool week in April, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are plenty of places to sit outside when it is warm enough, and plenty of seats and sun beds.

Perfect place In Chania close to the beach

I went for a weeks end of summer holiday with grownup family and could not have found something that fitted our needs better. The villa itself is comfortable well equipped and well decorated. The pictures actually don’t do it justice. Three roomy bedrooms. Outside is a lovely garden with a covered terrace in front and a paved area with table and barbecue. Location wise it is 5 min walk across a park from a sheltered sandy beach. It is in a very quiet road. Agia Apostoli have several beach and some rocky headlands. There are tavernas close. Thanos and family could not have been more friendly welcoming and helpful without intruding. We got given a lovely custard cake and then a little present when we left. Thank you. ευχαριστώ

en ce début d'automne, nous avons beaucoup apprécié et la maison et l'extérieur , plages ...

Une maison très bien conçue, plusieurs terrasses en fonction de l'heure de la journée. Propreté , linge de maison , tout était parfait. Et le plus, l'accueil du propriétaire qui nous a gâtés en fruits, confiture , pain, café,...bref plusieurs petits déjeuners d'avance ! et surprise du 2ème jour , un gâteau feuilleté tout chaud, avec du miel, de la crème, bref une tuerie !! (nous avons oublié le nom de ce délice!). Les plages à 5 minutes à pied et en louant une voiture on peut en 1heure de temps voir d'autres sites merveilleux. Nous pensons qu'en pleine saison il doit y avoir beaucoup de monde et nous ne regrettons pas d'avoir découvert ce coin nord ouest de la Crète fin septembre; des températures tout à fait convenable avec bains de mer tous les jours. un tout petit manque dans la cuisine, un plat pouvant aller au four !!! mais c'est vraiment 3 fois rien...!!

A fantastic holiday home in a lovely location

The house is well laid out and comfortable. It is well equipped too, with everything from mosquito killers to a tea strainer! The out door spaces are flexible, enabling sun lovers to sit with shade lovers at the same table. Children can play safely as there are 2 lockable gates and good fences around the property. The house suited my party (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 very small children) very well and we had a wonderful time exploring the local beaches and headlands. Our host, Thanos, and his family made the holiday even more special. They are wonderful people. I shall not forget this holiday

Un séjour choyé

Petite maison très bien située dans un quartier charmant et tranquille a deux pas de la mer. Restos et supermarché a proximité. Lavage de la literie et du linge de maison ainsi que l'entretien ménager faits à chaque semaine. Mention spéciale à notre hôte qui nous avait laissé de la nourriture pour les petits-déjeuners et nous a apporté deux gâteaux délicieux durant notre séjour de trois semaines. Le dernier soir, il nous a offert un joli cadeau typiquement grec que nous avons pu rapporter avec nous. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis comme a la maison... en mieux! Merci. außergewöhnlich freundliche und fürsorgliche Gastgeber, sehr schöne Wohnung.

Der Besuch vom 23.4. bis 7.5.2017 hatte alles, was einen Urlaub erfreulich gestaltet: Am wichtigsten: Ein ausgesprochen netter und fürsorglicher Hausbesitzer. Die Nähe zum Wasser mit weniger als 5 Fussminuten, kurze Distanz ins Zentrum von Chania mit ca 10 Autominuten (je nach Verkehr), ein Domizil, das neben der Größe von geschätzt 100 qm zwei schöne Terassen aufweist. Dazu war bei der Ankunft der Eisschrank gefüllt (wichtig für Neuankömmlinge am Sonntagabend, wenn Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe geschlossen sind), es gab später einen Kuchen und zum Schluss ein Abschiedsgeschenk, und der web-Check-in für den Rückflug wurde beim Gastgeber ausgedruckt. Das Haus war sauber, die Küche ausreichend bestückt, und auf Fernsehprogramme (bis auf das Zweite für Nachrichten) konnte gut verzichtet werden. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Thanos und seine Familie.

très bon séjour

Nous rentrons de notre séjour de 10 jours dans une charmante maison très bien située au bord de la mer et de 3 plages accessibles en 3 min à pied ( baignades possibles encore à cette saison , masques et tubas à prendre pour voir quelques poissons) Elle est située dans un quartier où l'on trouve des supermarchés, des restaurants et boutiques mais presque tout était fermé à cette saison (vacances de Toussaint). Il est très facile d'aller à Chania ou de rejoindre la nouvelle route pour visiter l'ile. La maison correspond tout à fait aux photos postées ; très propre, bon équipement, très bonne literie, il manquerait toutefois un peu de vaisselle ( plats et saladiers) pour ceux qui veulent un peu cuisiner , et un micro onde. Propriétaire très accueillant, qui avait pensé à remplir le frigidaire pour notre petit déjeuner du lendemain, et qui nous a apporté de très bons gâteaux durant notre séjour. Location à recommander !

MAISON DE VACANCES A RECOMMANDER

Nous avons passé en famille une semaine de vacances très agréable dans cette maison retenue d'abord pour sa proximité avec les plages de La Canée. La maison se trouve effectivement à 5mn à pied de 3 plages (2 criques ravissantes et 1 plage côté ouest très belle et abritée) , la 4ème côté ville ayant moins d'intérêt. La maison se trouve dans 1 petit quartier très sympa avec restaurants et commerces diverses et correspond en mieux à l'annonce : ensemble très propre et en bon état, équipement complet et confortable pour une famille de 6 personnes. L' accueil par les propriétaires a été remarquable et d'une très grande gentillesse (fruits et boissons fraiches dans le réfrigérateur, cadeaux,...). Nous recommandons vivement cette location.
