Outstanding

The property is as described and was better than the photos suggested. The host was incredible nothing was too much troubleAircon worked perfectly which given the temperatures during our weeks stay was a godsend The pool was wonderful too. The local town has some amazing restaurants which the host recommended. Customer service just doesn’t get any better than this. Would highly recommend the area and Yanni’s wonderful house.

Beautiful Home in a Perfect Location

We had the loveliest stay at Yanni's property just outside Chania. The home is ideally situated with a few restaurants and small shops nearby. It's on the bus route into the center of Chania so it's easy to explore there and the bus runs late! Yanni provided us with lots of recommendations before we arrived of restaurants and the ones we tried were delicious. Yanni was always on hand to ask any questions and provide any help we needed. The home was exactly as described and spotless. The outside area with the pool, terrace and outdoor cooking area was by far our favourite spot in the whole home.

Belle maison proche de Chania

Maison avec toutes les commodités dans un très beau jardin qui permet d’être isolés des habitations autour. La piscine est très bien pour les enfants avec un 1ère profondeur de 1m. Proche d’une route longeant la mer avec un petit port. Possibilité d’aller à une plage de sable à pied. Également, je vous conseille de prendre le bus pour aller à Chania. Nous étions très bien situés pour aller sur des sites comme Balos, Elafonisi et Loutro. Les propriétaires ont été accueillants et attentifs. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Lovely villa for a relaxing holiday

Lovely modern villa with everything you need - Wi-Fi, smart to, aircon etc. What makes this villa special is the outside space- raised patio with comfy sofa and chair, well maintained garden, good sized pool. When we weren’t at the beach we spent most of our time chilling on the patio, which catches the breeze or in the pool. The resort is small and quiet with everything you need within 5 minutes walk (3 mini markets, good restaurants and holiday shops). We thought the nearest beach was best. A small sandy cove down the steps by the Kalamaki restaurant, but if you prefer a larger beach there is one nearby - we thought the far end was best. There are also two other good beaches about 15 minutes walk towards Chania - we caught the bus back. Local buses are good and it is an easy trip into Chania for sightseeing. Yanni, the host, was very helpful and met us when we arrived. He arranged a taxi from the airport- reasonable price and very professional drivers. We hired a car for two days to explore but you could easily manage without a car. I would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday.

Extremely comfortable villa and excellent hosts.

The property is very comfortable and very well equipped. The pool and gardens are extremely well cared for and evening lighting is both useful and attractive. The balcony overlooking the pool can be constantly shaded and is well furnished. The villa is well situated with the sea and beach facilities a short distance away. For those who do not have a car, there is a half hourly bus service to Chania with a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away. There are a number of mini supermarkets within walking distance and two large supermarkets just a few minutes drive. Yanni and Georgia are excellent hosts who treat visitors as their guests and will promptly deal with any queries or requests. We have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone wishing to holiday in this beautiful part of Crete.

Excellent séjour

La maison est 100% conforme à la description. Aucune mauvaise surprise. La mer est à 50m, les plages de baignade un peu plus loin (400m ou quelques minutes de voitures pour les plus belles). Situé dans la banlieue de La Canée, des restaurants accessibles à pied sinon prendre la voiture pour la Canée. Yanni est un hôte parfait. Il a su nous donner de nombreux conseils pour les restaurants, plages et diverses excursions. Il suffit de demander. Très réactif pour répondre sous Whatsapp.

A really well kept beach house

Rea's Sea House is an immaculately kept house with a beautiful garden of fruit trees and a great pool. Yanni the host was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, recommending places to go and responding graciously to our many questions! We found the house very well equipped with a high quality kitchen. There are lots of places to sit and relax in the garden, outside barbeque, sun loungers etc. There's a car parking space with remote control gate. The house is a stone's throw from the sea and there are several good swimming beaches within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurant options in Kalamaki and several mini markets if you want to cook in. A car is helpful if you need to get to the bigger super markets. This little house was a delight to stay in - thank you Yanni!

Tolles Haus mit sehr gastfreundlichen Vermietern!

Vom Empfang über die Betreuung bis hin zur Abreise war alles perfekt! Das Haus haben wir so vorgefunden wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern zu sehen. Es ist sehr gut und modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Alles, was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Das WLAN funktioniert prima, sogar auf der Terrasse :-) Am Anreisetag sind wir spät am Abend angekommen und wurden von Yannis Frau sehr herzlich empfangen. Yanni hat uns auch einen Besuch abgestattet, war jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar und hat uns viele Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt und Restaurants gegeben. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit, die uns entgegen gebracht wurde! Wir würden gerne wieder einmal nach Kreta und in dieses Haus zurückkommen!

Lovely villa and hosts

We had a lovely holiday in Chania and were very happy with our accommodation. The villa was very centrally located for access into Chania town and also for excursions along the North coast. We didn’t hire a car but there wasn’t a need to because the bus stopped right outside on the road. Plenty of restaurants locally and for those eager for a great cup of coffee, the cafe Tres Jolie was within walking distance. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the villa (pool etc.) and our hosts were very kind, leaving pastries and organising taxis for us. We would happily recommend the villa.

Private villa in Kalamaki Chania

Read sea villa had everything you will need for your Greek holiday. The villa was located in the perfect position for restaurants,buses,and taxis This holiday was the best we have had although this was our first visit to Crete it certainly will not be the last time you see us. Total relaxation

If you are looking for the ideal holiday this villa has all the amenities and requirements you will need. We were met by Georgia and Yanni on our arrival who showed us around. They explained everything and showed us a fridge that was stocked with some nice food items including wine and beer which was a lovely surprise. They left us to enjoy our holiday but occasionally popped in with some Cretan delights which again was very thoughtful and well appreciated. The villa was sited in a very convenient spot. It was immaculate, modern and very cosy and had an excellent size pool which was set in lovely grounds. Very close to beach.. and amenities with short bus ride to old town.. Relaxing and calm....healing. We came home rested and refreshed. Many thanks to our most warm and convivial hosts again. Hope to see you both again.. Chris and Darran

la maison est très confortable,moderne et propre; elle est au calme ,bien qu'à proximité de la côte et de son animation estivale.La piscine est un réel plus,même si les plages ne sont pas loin. Pour ceux qui seraient sans voiture,il y a un arrêt de bus tout proche ,La Canée n'est qu'à quelque kilomètres.Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour de 2 semaines fin août,rendu encore plus agréable par l'accueil sympathique et amical de ses propriétaires Yannis et Georgia.

The villa is in excellent condition and brand new with all modern fittings and everything you need. Yanni was very helpful and fixed the light when it was broken, found great restaurants, booked us trips and brought us food too! With lovely beaches, bars and restaurants close by and Chania harbour 20 minutes away you have everything you need. We will definitely come back.

Perfect family getaway

We spent 10 unforgettable days on the wonderful island of Crete in July 2016. And we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and more wonderful people to have as owners. The little villa in Kalamaki is truly a heaven on earth: tastefully decorated, with a lot of love and incredible attention to details, with all of the amenities one could think of, surrounded by a beautiful garden and a perfect sized pool. And the owners are the most amazing people we have met in years, which explains why the villa is so cozy and radiates this wonderful calming energy. :) It is a real home and Yanni and Georgia have really done an outstanding job with it. So a little bit about our experience: we arrived late in the evening from Santorini after driving through Crete for couple of hours. Both Yanni and his wonderful wife Georgia welcomed us at the villa and we felt immediately at home. They had everything prepared to the smallest detail. They showed us around the house and explained how to use things and appliances. There was hot water, the fridge was full with food and refreshments and even fresh oranges, there were towels for the bathroom and for the pool, fast WiFi and just everything one could think of. Yanni is very tech savvy and had great recommendations for useful applications to help our stay on Crete. He immediately sent us a document with links and coordinates to the places they recommend as locals. Georgia was ready with a magazine she bought with the most recommended places in Chania. We were ready for our stay on Crete! Both of them were at our disposal for anything we needed, but were very respectful of our privacy as well. As perfect hosts, they have invited us one night for a dinner at their home where we tried some of the delicious Cretan specialties prepared by the wonderful cook - Georgia. We truly felt that we were with good friends and not just owners of the place we stayed in. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and the wonderful owners to all travelers. And we hope that we will come back soon and visit again our friends Yanni and Georgia. This is the only place we would stay at while on Crete!

Amazing villa, 50 feet from the sea, everything in villa was explended

it was a experience of a life time, the villa and the owner Yanni were amazing, Yanni was one of the most helpful people i have ever met, lots of vegitables in the garden for visitors use, the swimming pool was always warm and lovely, the best thing was that you get the best of both worlds, if you dont wanna go out you can stay and use the pool, if you wanna go out its only 50 feets to the sea. It was a holiday of a life time. I So much recomend this villa.
