“We spent three lovely days at the villa up in the mountains. It was full of rustic charm and very peaceful (the only sounds in the evening were goats and birds!) The building has lots of history and has a pool and an en site convenience store which is really useful. The breakfast was incredible! It was served on the balcony of our room. I’d highly recommend that you have it when you stay! The owner is also very helpful and communicative. I had several questions throughout the stay and always……

“Super friendly and helpful host. We had some problems with the power in the kitchen upon our arrival. The host was helpful and fixed the problem quickly. The house is in a nice location and with a nice view, although there's some distance to some of the tourist attractions so be prepared to drive if you want to see Knossos Palace or Elafonissi Beach. There's a town a few minutes from the house with supermarkets and restaurants. The house has a kitchen with all the necessities to prepare a meal.……

“We stayed in this villa for a week and it was just perfect. The layout with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs seemed odd but in fact was ideal as it meant you could come indoors from the pool or a day at the beach, go straight to the bathroom and bedroom to shower etc without trailing upstairs. The balcony off the living room had wonderful views. There is a highway that passes but it's not too close and we didn't really notice the traffic noise.
