Good family reunion

I was there for a UNC reunion with a group of friends and the place worked out perfectly. Nice quiet spot (except for the roosters in the morning) with plenty of room. All the facilities were great.

Wonderful Oasis in Chapel Hill

This is an absolutely beautiful property! Incredibly spacious, great lighting and wonderful communal space for a group. I highly recommend this space!

Great location!

Close to everything and yet you feel like you’re in the woods! Deer came through the yard every day! House is HUGE. We’ve stayed at both houses and they are very nice!

Visiting family for Christmas

Great house. One of my children is in a wheelchair, so having the ramp at the entrance was a huge plus. All one level on the inside so that worked out, too. Fenced in yard a big bonus.

Perfect location for Chapel Hill area

Secluded and quiet, located on a pruvate drive nestled in the woods. But also close enough to UNC campus and major shopping centers. This is an ideal location for anyone visiting the University, hospital, or the area. The four full bedrooms and bathrooms gives everyone ample space, and the kitchen, dining, and living rooms are spacious to get everyone together. The hosts are super nice and communicative. Overall a great experience.

Sibling reunion

Our group of 10 - siblings and spouses - thoroughly enjoyed our reunion gathering. The house was spacious & clean, providing more than adequate comfort for sleeping, cooking, and eating together - the latter both inside and outside. The location is a treasure tucked away in a quiet setting, yet helpfully very close to UNC and downtown Chapel Hill. The "agent" was extraordinarily helpful, prompt with communication, and supportive in ways that lent comfort to our stay.

Family get together for UNC football game

We had nine family members plus a dog stay at this location over a long football weekend. The space was surprisingly big and the fenced in back yard for the dog was great. We enjoyed our time together largely in the kitchen area and on the back porch. Bill was super responsive and the check in/out process was very easy. It was about a ten minute drive to the UNC campus. The house was as advertised, thanks for sharing it with us.

Spacious peaceful house

Very clean and spacious

Over Christmas, we had seven people staying in this house and there was plenty of room. All the rooms were spacious and clean. There's a lot of light in the rooms and the area was quiet. It did feel like a retreat with the ability to just relaxed.

Roomy Retreat

Property was as advertised and more. Four large bedroom with 3 ensuites. The kitchen, dining and family rooms were large and provided enough space for all to enjoy.

FANTASTIC experience!!

We had 12 family members (17-62 yrs old) who stayed in the house. Most of us came from FL, 2 from NC, for a family wedding. It was GORGEOUS just driving into the property. It's so private and secluded. The firepit in the front circle drive was used every night. The kitchen is open and spacious. We never felt cramped or crowded during any part of our stay. The back deck was large and well-maintained. We sat out there every morning for coffee and enjoyed the fall leaves. The beds were all comfortable and clean, rooms were all spacious. The location was very private, yet close to shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood was pleasant, beautiful properties. The host/manager was attentive and quick to respond to any question or need. The whole family had a great time and have already discussed returning in the future.

An excellent emergency stay!

Our house burned down one nice fall day, and we had to have a place to spend a few days. This was the perfect spot--roomy and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood and with a fenced back yard for our poor dog! We were particularly impressed with the comfort of the beds and chairs, reliable wi-fi, and lovely clean bathrooms. We made great use of the laundry as well, for the clothes we'd managed to take out of our house. By the time we had to leave, we'd gotten better control of our own situation. I was very happy with the place and with the flexibility of the owners, who allowed me to extend our stay by one day. Kudos to them for giving us shelter in the storm.

Beautiful Home

We couldn’t have asked for a better home to spend our Fourth of July weekend. The house was spacious inviting and had a phenomenal backyard for activities in room for the four-legged friend. Would highly recommend for any large groups looking for a private weekend getaway in Chapel Hill.

Son's Wedding

We loved our stay at this Chapel Hill property for our son's wedding in Carrboro NC. It is a nice private location, and the house is so spacious, with each bedroom having its own bath. It is pet friendly (which was key to our staying here) and has a huge fenced-in back yard to allow your pet to run around and get some exercise. It is a little confusing to get to at first (especially since we arrived at night), but not a problem overall. The access is via a code, so you don't need to worry about losing a key. I am so glad we chose this property for our stay and I would definitely stay here again!

Wedding Venue

Our son was getting married in Chapel Hill and we needed a space for four couples - this was perfect in every way. Bill was an awesome and accommodating host, and the home was perfectly outfitted for our needs. It was in a great location, close to everything - the church, the reception, the rehearsal dinner. It really was ideal!! Two huge thumbs up!!!!
