Welcome to your dream lakeside retreat, in the heart of Chapin, on the beautiful shores of Lake Murray! This stunning 2 bedroom 1 bath home is known for its magnificent views with easy access to the town of Chapin and city of Columbia.

Inside the home you will find a well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room with flat screen tv and Pac Man Arcade Game, as well as two bedrooms and a full bath. The first bedroom includes a King bed while the other bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms feature comfortable bedding and large windows with lake views. The shared bathroom features a tub/shower combo.

This home boasts plenty of outdoor space for loads of lakeside fun. Just outside of the living room you'll find a relaxing screened in porch, complete with a propane fire pit and plenty of seating for the entire family. To the right of the porch is the grilling area with gas grill. The back lawn overlooking the lake has a fire pit area, lounge area with comfortable Adirondack chairs, and the dock features a table and chairs, perfect for a lakeside dinner.

Please note: This home is on big water in Chapin which may have chop during the day making it unsafe to use the paddle boards, kayaks, or swim. We recommend keeping a close eye on the water before using these amenities and always wearing your life jacket and other provided safety gear. Additionally, this property has a dock, but does not have a floating dock. We recommend bringing additional fenders if you wish to park your boat at the dock.

Major roach infestation We were under seige the whole time. Roaches crawlig across floor, up walls and on furniture. Nowhere was safe. We were unable to relax and enjoy our time. We advised owner and were told that the pest control spraying caused the problem and offered 50 for the inconvenience.

Really great location and view. We loved the screened in porch and lake access. Bonus that they provided SUPs and kayaks. We worked from the house and the WiFi worked well. Cottage is on the small side but worked well for 2 couples. We encountered a few bugs which is probably expected when you are on a lake. Owner was very responsive.

Great location

The property is spectacular to say the least. The view from the porch is the money shot. The house is a lake house. Comfortable and all you need. The PAC Man arcade is a blast when it rains. Ping pong too. We left 15 brand new ping pong balls for future guests. The only negative is I am 6’2 and the bathroom is TINY. It was difficult for me but , it’s a lake house and you make the best of it! Overall we completely enjoyed it.

Little Cottage - Big View

We booked this cottage for my parents to stay in while here celebrating our son's graduation. They loved the view. The majority of their time was spent sitting on the screened porch admiring the water view and local wildlife. They had everything they needed during their stay. The host was very responsive and accommodating. House was also very clean. We are sure to book again when we have a full house and need extra space!

We had a great and relaxing time at this property. The outdoor space and the view are lovely, as was the screened in porch. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Note that the bathroom is quite small and needs some updating.
