pretty bare bones room, but clean and comfortable. The price reflected the bare bones, which I appreciated, and though not plush, my room had everything I needed. The man who checked me in was friendly, courteous, and efficient.

Motel: This motel is extremely clean…..beds were comfy & everything worked. Great shower & plenty of clean towels. Physical appearance both inside & out extremely dated …… like from back in the mid -50’s……but so was the nightly room rate. Rates are a true bargain for sure!! GML & fam.

I was there to do business and needed internet, my room didn't get good service, I talked to the manager and he offered to hook us up with his own personal internet, but it wasn't strong enough so he moved us to a room that was closer to the router and I finally got the signal I needed. So they went above and beyond to make sure I could do my work while staying there. Very good service, very kind people. Both rooms were very neat and clean. Very quiet also. Will definitely stay again when in that area. My only complaint is it showed a continental breakfast area in pictures, but did not have one.

Adrian, the owner, was a prince. They do not have assessible rooms, but he accomodatwd me the best he could. He went to my room with ice and had my room cooled by its AC before i arrived.. I had fallen the second day away from hotel and he assisted me the next day upon my departure. He came to my rooom without requesting him and packed my things into the car. He then went to the gas station to pump my gas. Never have I had such kind, considerate treatment from motel personnel. He thanked me for leaving my room in order and with little mess. Its a true small town, no frills, trditionak motel. Parking space in front of your unit,, refridge, microwave, good TV. People who had boats had a parking space. You could sit on the sidewalk outside your room and enjoy the Iowa evening. No phone in room, so use your cell. Charming!

For the price point it was perfect, came up for race weekend. Had hot water(i love hot showers) room was clean, staff we did encounter was friendly and parking was great. If we have a need to be back that way will def stay again.

Hidden Gem

An older motel with all the right amenities: great sheets, pillows, towels, lamps and a clock, microwave and fridge. Even hosted a coin opp washing machine and dryer. Very pleasant and highly recommend.
