Nestled amongst the trees, this cozy one bedroom a-frame cabin is the perfect getaway. This beautiful a-frame overlooks deep wooded ravines and is just feet away from a hiking trail. With a cozy queen bed and a large deck with chairs, guests can sit for hours and relax, or hike our eight mile trail on our 149 wooded acres. Guests can enjoy hiking the trails along the Embarras River, or renting one of our kayaks for an afternoon on the river. Afterwards, guests can enjoy a refreshing shower in the outdoor shower with instant hot water. Your private space is complete with a fire pit and cooking grill as well as a wooden picnic table to enjoy a peaceful meal. Escape to this perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway!

This was exactly what I was looking for. A few nights of campfire cooking - the quiet of the woods - a comfortable bed - What more could you want? Becca outdid every VRBO host with a welcoming attitude, coffee and pastries (and fresh eggs!) in the mornings - she even did my dishes so I wouldn’t have to spend my vacation time cleaning. Just a lovely stay for anyone looking for an unplugged, quiet weekend - camping but with a bed, a roof, and a helpful host. I definitely intend to be back soon.
