Perfect place

This condo off of the turtle point golf courses was a great choice for us . Four golfers and there was plenty of space, in addition the owners spared no expense with the furnishings and the expanded tv package was just perfect for us .

Wonderful location and layout

Great end unti condo. Master suite upstairs for some privacy from others. Great view of pond and golf course. Rent bikes to explore the area. Close to beach, the Sanctuary resort and more. Highly recommend this for families.

One drawback - the bathroom adjacent to the twin bedroom seemed to be plagued by an infestation of mosquitoes, very strange as the others were all fine.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice older property. Well maintained and clean. Called maintenance once and they quickly responded. Nothing wrong except I was not holding the start button down long enough on clothes dryer. A few kitchen pans need replacment. If returning will stay again.

Summer vacation

The location to the beach was excellent. The property manager was prompt. The villa had a well equipped kitchen. Seating areas and bedrooms were good. Bathroom showers could have been cleaned more throughly, bathroom shower curtain in twin bedroom was covered in mold and needed to be replaced by property manager. Showers in other rooms had some mold on shower floors. Disappointed that the tv cable boxes had been removed from all rooms and we had no tv for over half of our stay. Not sure why this was done when they knew the place was booked for this week.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the Villa was perfect as Kiawah in general is. Unfortunately, the beds were not. The master bedroom mattress was very old and after just a few nights my husband ended up with a terrible back ache. ESPM was very responsive in replacing the mattress the day we called which was a sign of great service. I will say that I was disappointed that the mattress wasn't replaced long before our stay as I had read a review that also mentioned it. In addition, the bathrooms are all in need of updating and both sinks in the master bedroom were clocked with hair when we arrived. This is such a lovely spot - the updates would make all the difference.

It is a very short bike ride to the beach, and it was located at a perfect spot on the island for us. It is well stocked for those who want to stay in and cook. Our experience with the management company was great as well. We had a minor issue that they were very attentive to and resolved quickly. Our only concern was that there were no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. This is very evident in the master BR that is upstairs. This room stays much warmer than the entire downstairs.

First time stay

The unit was clean however most of the furnishings and bathrooms are a bit tired.

First time at Kiawah

This was our first time to the island. We enjoyed our stay. The facility was clean and well stocked. The king bed on the lower level needs to be replaced. And the shower in the lower bathroom (king bedroom) had very little water pressure. Not a fan of the bugs outside and the ones that got inside. Big spiders on the deck and house, and also a few cockroaches in the house that were huge, they were near the deck area entrance. The bikes that we rented with the credit were not in great shape and need to be replaced. Our bikes looked like something that needed to be junked compared to the other rental bikes that we saw parked at the bike racks. Probably a one and done visitor to Kiawah Island. The ocean was rough, VERY windy on the beach, and no shells. Rental company was nice, professional and responded quickly. Same with bike rental company.

Lovely View, but Mattress should be Replaced & the AC Serviced

Reviewer Comments: The location is near the beach and has a lovely view of water and the golf course with a great place to sit, although the outside furniture was filthy. The layout is terrific. The bathrooms are very dated. The mattress in the primary suite is terrible. This rental should not be rented until the mattress is replaced. Overall the unit was very clean, however the carpet was worn and dirty and there was sand in the dresser drawers. The air conditioning system is in dire need of service. Everything in the villa felt wet. We stayed in another unit on the island in the past month and did not experience the uncomfortable humidity inside.

Great location, but wifi not good

We had a nice month at this property. We are tennis players and it is a nice short bike ride from there to the Barth tennis center. We didn’t hear a peep from the property managers for the entire four weeks, so can’t really rate the service. The wifi, however, was really unreliable. We needed to work for most of the month and we ended up having to use a mix of hotspots, the shaky wifi and also even heading up to the Sanctuary Hotel for decent wifi. I wouldn’t plan to remote work from this location if you need to do zoom calls, etc.

Arrival process was easy. Great location. Scenic setting. Condo had a comfortable amount of space, was nicely decorated and was clean! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking needs. The credit for beach gear was great. We used ours for bicycles, which are a must! They are a great way to explore the island! Just a few issues.... Mattress in master could use replacement. It was NOT comfortable due to excessive wear. Ceiling fan motor in master was noisy and ‘loud’. This rental does NOT have access to a pool, which would be nice when you want an alternative to the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will admit that we are AirBnB/rental home snobs. So I have extremely high expectations. This unit had pretty basic amenities. A few things I would improve: 1) the washing machine/dryer are LOUD! And the capacity is ridiculously small!! 2) There are not enough knives. Some steak knives would be a great addition. 3) Some of the pans are not level - this makes cooking difficult. 4) The towels left lint on your skin when you dry. 5) The master shower grout needs a good scrubbing. 6) All of the pillows should be burned. Where did you get those?? 7) The back bathroom shower door DOES NOT CLOSE! 8) You should increase the number of times the unit is treated for pests - I killed several spiders during our time there.

Wonderful villa in a great location

We loved our stay. The villa has a beautiful view of the lagoon along the 17th fairway of Turtle Point - easy walk to the beach. The floor plan was ideal for our family of 5. Very nice to have the master BR upstairs for more privacy. The furnishings and decor are lovely. Highly recommend!

Lovely unit, great property manager

This is a beautifully updated unit, with a great view and outdoor deck . Short bike ride to beach. Very comfortable seating areas.We had an issue when we arrived and the management company was absolutely fabulous, very responsive. Went above and beyond to be sure the situation was rectified.. I would highly recommend and would rent again!
