A gem in Charleston

Quintessential great stay

Such a great experience, cozy beds, gorgeous decor and amenities, including wonderful verandah and smooth arrival process. Love the spiral staircase to get up to the place. All was excellent!

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for our surrounding events. My only regrets were not having enough time to eat at the restaurant next door and too little time spent enjoying the balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place in downtown Charleston!

We were in town for a wedding, this was the perfect place to stay for access to great restaurants, coffee shops, and just touring Charleston. Loved the historic features of the beautiful home! The kitchen was small but beautifully designed and had everything we needed. My husband loved the extra large coffee mugs!!

Very nice place in a great location

The property was as described and met our expectations. Very nice inside and out and within walking distance to just about everything. Food (literally on site and next door), coffee, stores, and a few small parks. You can't do much better in my opinion.

Fantastic location + historic property = amazing girls weekend!

The property was even better than the photos! Clean, spacious, welcoming, and warm. The deck/piazzas were amazing for lounging in the morning. Each bedroom has its own flair and we loved learning about the history of the property. Steps away from great shops and food. Cannot recommend this place and location enough!

Spectacular!

This place is amazing! Our host was very responsive and made check in easy and efficient. The property itself was super comfortable with every amenity you need! Beautiful property

Great spot near king street. Good bagel spot nearby. Owners provided great coffee and tea as well as board games. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch. Met one of the owners who was delightful and let us tour the other upstairs unit. Clearly they have put a lot of sweat equity in this place!

Amazing!

Better than expected, pictures do not do it justice. Bedrooms are large, with comfy beds. Cute bathrooms with era type decor. Kitchen well stocked and super cute! The Southern porch is the real winner! Large, comfy and lamp lit for a cozy ambiance. The one note is the narrow spiral staircase to enter the residence. For 3 older women with suitcases, it took a team effort. Loved it!

Outstanding Accomodations

Our Charlestonian stay was top notch. The apartments spacious and no detail is overlooked. The gorgeous wood, high ceilings, comfy beds, the porch and extensively outfitted kitchen made the stay memorable. We'll be back. Relaxing close to everything

The Charlestonian is in a great location within walking distance of some great dining and shops. The apartment has a nice vibe with interesting and unique design choices. The beds were very comfortable with high end linens. Both the front veranda and back porch are very comfortable with teak furniture and accessories. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic cookware and utensils to prepare meals if you choose to stay in and cook. Also, having a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We had a great week at Charleston. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to experience downtown Charleston.

Thanksgiving in Charleston

Mom/Dad came down to host Thanksgiving in Charleston for our Clemson son (and friend). This VRBO was perfect for the trip. Kitchen was top shelf for pulling out a Thanksgiving Meal. Location allows us to walk to almost everything. Can't over state the time sitting on the second floor porch with coffee watching the world go by. Amazing fine touches done on this rennovation.

College Basketball weekend

Great property for 3 couples. Close to all the sights and a fabulous restaurant right next door. We were all very impressed with our unit. Beautifully redone and well done. We had a great time hanging out, seeing Charleston and attending basketball tournament at the College of Charleston. Would definitely consider on next trip to Charleston.

Wonderful property - perfect for a long weekend

We flew down to Charleston for a girls weekend. This VRBO caught our attention right from the start because of the gorgeous pictures. The location did not disappoint! It was a lovely property in a great location - close enough to everything we wanted to see, but in a residential area that was quiet and safe. We had a blast. We definitely felt pampered. Terrific Spot for Food & Fun!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Charlestonian! The space is very cool, the beds are really comfortable, and the location is great for dining and nightlife. Try the new restaurant Southbound next door, it was outstanding!
