Nice quaint hideaway
Located in a very quiet neighborhood right on the shores of the Hiwassee river this property has all you need for a quiet getaway. Neighborhood is suitable for walking although I wouldn't stray too far from the main street as the entry into the neighborhood is a very narrow and windy road. Kayaks and canoes are available for river exploration although we did not use them (too many other activities). The game room downstairs is very nice and we took advantage of that. Upstairs deck is nice for relaxation. Kitchen is adequate for what you might need for cooking and you can always use the Green Egg on the outside patio. The outdoor stone fireplace is pretty awesome and I would definitely recommend at least one night using that!
One thing to be aware of is that this is a wooded property...there will be bugs and you might have to clean off outdoor furniture during the week. That's not a big deal for us and I would expect that with a property in an outdoor environment like this (but I know some people will want to know that).
Nina was a great host and very communicative...responded quickly to any questions. There were no issues at either check-in or check-out.
