“Check-in was easy. The house was ultra clean with new appliances. I could tell the house had been recently renovated, and I appreciated how tastefully it had been decorated.We weren’t in town long enough to do much cooking, so I’m not sure about needed pots and pans.”

“It's a rustic but very cozy place. It was very clean and was stocked with so many niceties. Very classy and just lovely. The stairs are kind of steep so you might want to take that into consideration. We walked up to the barn area and met some of the animals - the turkeys and donkeys are quite sociable and very cute! The surrounding area is bucolic. All in all, a really nice place to get away from it all.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over the July 4th weekend. We spent many hours on the front porch watching the sun rise, the boats pass by, birds soar, including bald eagles nesting nearby! The house is charming and very well equipped. We appreciated the binoculars to watch birds and fireworks. Betterton Beach is a short walk. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend! ”

We enjoyed the beach area, sunsets and walks in the neighborhood. We brought our own kayaks and fished... caught lots of catfish!! We brought our bikes for Chesapeake City.We enjoyed the Bohemia Manor Winery nearby. Great sunsets and great memories! Thanks again! ”

“The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring.”
