A really nice place to stay

Great location, amazing views!

This property was exactly as described. The condo was clean and equipped with everything we could have needed for our stay. Walking distance to everything downtown and amazing views of the water and boats passing by. Would definitely stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed @ the Edgewater for over 30 years...have always enjoyed our stay (except for the last 2 times)...the TV in the bedroom did not work..we hac someone come over to look at it, but could not fix it. The sofa sleeper was very uncomfortable(again)...the mattress was lumpy & uneven..very wife had to put the cushions back on to be able to sleep.

Great place but...things to know

Really nice stay. King bed was very comfortable and beautiful location. Would have been nice to know before visit.....staying in late October we booked this condo wanting a fireplace. There was a log to light. Not a gas fireplace. Ok fine, but there was no lighter to be found. My husband had to leave and buy one (it was raining/dark/cold) Also, the property pool/hot tub was closed for "maintenance". Also looked forward to hot tub but couldn't enjoy. Would have liked a heads up. Guess we didn't need to pack our suits :( There was no one at the check in/out desk at night for help. No one at the desk when we checked out either at 10:45 am.

Great Getaway in Charlevoix

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at the Edgewater Inn over the Fourth of July holiday and had a great time! The unit was in really good condition, and the location within the complex can't be beat. You get great views off the balcony of the ships going to/from Lake Michigan plus the unit is conveniently located straight ahead from the parking lot entrance. The pool/hot tub/sauna in the lower level were utilized a ton during our trip. The one complaint is that the kitchen doesn't have any sort of exhaust fan. We cooked all meals in the unit, and it got a bit smoky a few times. Considering they have two stove tops and a microwave I wish there were a way to help clear any smoke from chicken, breakfast sausage, or otherwise. Besides that the inn was great and we loved being so close to Charlevoix for morning walks to coffee, and to Lake Michigan for quick walks to the water for the sunset. All in all, this was one of our favorite places we have stayed up north in Michigan and we highly recommend it!
