Holiday Stay-cation

Our Girl Scout troop and leaders had a great time at this cabin on Lake Norman! There was plenty of room for all 14 of us with the multiple levels and large rooms. We loved the wood burning fireplace since it was cold all weekend. The only small complaint was the amenities in the kitchen could use some updating, like no wine bottle opener and limited pots and pans. We just went out and bought the items we needed. Everything else was great though, from comfy beds to great views of the lake. Thank you for everything!

Lovely cabin in a great location

The location was perfect. You felt like you were far away from everything, yet, all of the conveniences were within a few miles of the cabin. Outdoor spaces were wonderful. We had great weather and enjoyed the upper deck and the fire pit. There was plenty of room for seven adults, two teenagers, and our small dog. There is enough room to be together, and also enough space for those who needed some solitude over the four days we were together. For those who plan to do a lot of cooking, you may want to consider bringing some of your own cookware. The cookware in the cabin could use an upgrade in quantity and quality. Overall, it was the perfect place for our family to spend Thanksgiving.

Birthday Celebration

Family from Florida and Ohio met in the middle to celebrate Dad’s 75th birthday. The house was perfect! Only wish we had more time to spend there and enjoy the lake longer!

Nice time @ LKN

Overall great experience. Property is as advertised. Only feedback is have some pots and pans available given the large size of individuals that the property is advertised to host. Outside of that, we had a lovely time and enjoyed the property; the hosts stayed in touch and stood ready to assist as needed.
